Back to work after the long weekend today. I feel refreshed and relaxed. I sold a bag for £8 on V!nted which I’m pleased about. Every time I wore it it annoyed me because it was uncomfortable so even though it was a cool bag, I’m glad to sell it. I boosted it for £1 so that’s a £7 profit.
Just watching Netflix before work. Might watch an episode of First Dates after that. I’m knitting some socks (freee).
I need to get a couple of things in Asda after work. Gonna try to buy no coffee at work. I’m just drinking some caffeine now. I’m going for lunch with someone at work, I’ve budgeted £10 but it should be less, if I don’t buy a coffee.0 bonus saver

Still doing pretty well. I spent £20 on V!nted yesterday in a bit of a lapse, and £25 on tickets to 2 talks. At least it's educational and interesting. It's really working for me having my coffee money on a separate card. I can see how much I've got left and I enjoy it more when I actually do buy a coffee instead of feeling guilty. Also spent £4.08 in Budgens today on washing up liquid and kefir, which I love. Also about £10 in Asda yesterday including £5 on 2 light bulbs. Talk about the cost of living. Anyway, I now have light in my bathroom again.
I'm looking forward to the weekend. It should be a cheap one as I'm going to a museum with my friend who is trying to save money too. On Sunday I'm planning to make soap. I'll have to buy some olive oil which is expensive but once it's ready I'll save money on soap.

I didn't buy anything except coffee yesterday, very pleased about that. My bank account is looking pretty healthy so I'm very pleased about that. Looking forward to the weekend, I've got a few errands to run and meeting a friend for coffee late morning then another friend for museum visit. I just bought a pair of work trousers on Vinted for £11.39 with postage.
Hope everyone is well.0 bonus saver

Well done on having a healthy bank account. Enjoy the museum visit and the coffee.

A few more V!nted purchases and some wool and my bank balance is looking a bit less healthy. I have budgeted to the end of the month but there's not much scope for non essential spends now. The coffee card is still working really well. My freezer is full so I'm going to use that quite a bit plus I get my veg bag delivered.
I went round my sister's house last night and met her new boyfriend along with my niece and her boyfriend. A bit of a baptism of fire for him. He seems nice though. Dinner was delicious and it was good to chat. I offered to take a dessert but my sister did it all.
I'm planning to go swimming at the outdoor pool after work, I hope the sun comes out against all the odds. I'm on leave next week, off to my mum's for a mini holiday (pretty much free, £19.20 train). It's always lovely to see her. I think she enjoys having me there. I get a lot of r and r when I'm there. I can't wait. I need to make a note of some good films on Netflix and iPlayer as we like to watch a film in the evening.0 bonus saver

No spending today except the one coffee. I didn't go swimming because only the outdoor pool was open and it's pretty cold today. I'll go at the weekend, probably to the indoor pool. I had a nice dinner of some pork I got reduced to clear which I marinated in tikka spice mix, steamed patty pan squash and rice cooked in the rice cooker. Three more pork steaks to go!0 bonus saver

Got my hair cut yesterday which was a rare treat. A salon I used to go to has closed and a lot of the hairdressers have opened up a new salon. It was very relaxing and I had someone I have seen before who is a great hairdresser and doesn't chat too much but just enough so it's not uncomfortable. It cost £70 with tip, which I had budgeted for. After this I was starving so I got a vegetarian kebab and chips for about £11 which is just about in the budget. I knew if I waited until I'd got home and cooked I'd be nearly falling over. There was a lot of food but I didn't eat all the sauces and only had half the chips and was pleasantly full, so I was pleased about that.
Two more days of work until my holiday, looking forward to it. Hopefully there will be some sunshine.0 bonus saver

I got a coffee (£2.73) yesterday at lunch and sat in the sun. Also went for a spontaneous coffee with a friend this morning. £7.90 as it was my turn to pay. I'm going swimming in a bit (£6.20) and then I'll go to my knitting group where I will buy another coffee.
My new M&S jeans from Vinted arrived, they are very comfortable and well worth the money. They still had the tags on so unworn. I saved some money on buying them in the shop.
Spaghetti cacio e uova tonight. I haven't made it before but it's supposed to be like a vegetarian carbonara. I did an Asd@ shop for about £11 yesterday. It should have been about £14 but I had a £3 voucher on their app. That shop earned me another £1.50 voucher because I bought some Aveeno moisturiser plus I got £1 for doing my first shop in September. The app is great and you can save a lot of money. I got 50p off tinned fish which I eat a lot of, making a tin of mackerel 45p.0 bonus saver

Having a lovely time away at my mum’s at the coast. Not much spending either.
Sunday I bought a couple of t-shirts from Next as I needed some, £14.00, no delivery as I’ll pick them up from the local store when I’m back. £9.60 on the train ticket and £7.10 for an expensive Costa Coffee and a water at the station which I’m a bit annoyed about.
Tuesday we went to a nearby town and I bought some deodorant, (about £2.50), a t-shirt from a charity shop (£5.00) and some wool as I haven’t bought enough here with me plus there’s a lovely shop I like to support (£8.95). No spends apart from that.
I’m just enjoying my knitting, cooking with my mum and some nice walks. Ordinary life and work seem a long way away.0 bonus saver
