I can't see pinkpinkfizs photo. All the others come up on my computer but where hers is, it just shows a little box with a red cross in it. Any suggestions as to what I need to do to take a peek? Thanks.
There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.

    O'Shea's were doing a 12oz beer for $1 or 20oz for $2.

    Irish bar + American = .........

I suppose if you pay a premium for buying one 20oz beer instead of two 12oz's it means you have a free hand to feed the machines....

i still say the big yards of frozen or on the rocks cocktails are the best way to get in the party sprit. here is a picture of small sized ones.

Tsk. Those don't even have the shoulder straps I've seen on some. :) That's on of the funniest things to me - seeing people with yard long margaritas strapped to their chests. :)

I am a tight git and hate tipping. $1 per drink to the cocktail waitresses (seems mean maybe, but they keep coming back).

That's pretty much standard accepted tip for cocktail waitresses and I've seen so many people not tip at all. Some say if you will be around for awhile tip $5 the first round and ask her to keep them coming and then tip $1/drink every other round or so.

With what the drinks cost at most bars it's a bargain...I learned not to order even a Diet Coke at the bar - $6 I think it was for a tiny little glass. Gobsmacked. :)

Love this site for insight into the things a cocktaill waitress has to put up with and all kinds of suggestions.

Good luck with your hotel decisions and hopefully the pyramid suites will live up to our expectations. I think I've read that they're getting a bit worn, but I still want to stay at Luxor and ride the inclinator if nothing else. :)

Not sure - maybe try hitting refresh and see if it pops up. It may be that you tried to look at it when imageshack was down or something - I can see it now with no problem.

I may change the Luxor booking as we have now overspent on the Palazzo, but like you I want to ride an inclinator and stay in a pyramid.

Thanks for the cocktaildoll link, it makes interesting reading

Comedy = lots of choice here on the strip . try one of the comedy clubs at Topicanna , Riviera , Harrahs or Flamingo . also resisdent acts like , Rita Rudner, Carrot top, George wallace , amongst others. these sort of shows often appear at the half price outlets .

Live Music = House of Blues@ Mandalay Bay and Hard rock often have live bands on . you can also find upcoming dates for non resisdent shows here

    http://visitlasvegas.com/vegas/play/shows/results.jsp?page=1

Cirque de Soli ...i'll leave recommendations to people who have seen some of them .

Tribute acts . Stratosphere and Imperial Palace have tribute acts as their main Headliners , there are loads of others around ..pick up the free Magazines to see what takes your fancy

as for Broadway shows. my top picks are Blue man Group , Mamma Mia and Phantom of the Opera
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
