Can someone answer me a question about Virgin Miles+Money please
Earlier on in the year I did a flight search using my miles and the price quoted was £70 cheaper than if I'd not had any miles ......did the same search today and asked for a quote with my miles which are the same amount as before and the quote is just £30 cheaper than without the miles......does the value of your miles differ??? seems the value has dropped considerably.....or am I doing something wrong

I have never found it a good deal to use M+M, why book a flight that doesn't GIVE miles just to save a hundred or so. Better to book one class above cheapest fare (they have reduced miles to 50% for N class now) to get the maximum miles allowance. Sometimes this is only £50 more per ticket, and you get 5,000 more miles. To do this you have to phone flying club direct, they have many more fares available than the website
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Oddly we've found at least lately that we have earned miles on M+M fares...and have also earned tier points...not really sure why, but not complaining.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Booked a week trip in late October, but now need a car.

Booking with Dollar is just £111 for car and two insured drivers??? It that correct?

Have I read this wrong?? It seems too cheap.

No, car hire is cheap if its done the right way and thru the right agent. Heres another one www.auto-europe.co.uk - compare the two.

We priced for a month and it came out at £435, so that seems about right.
