Does anyone have any information on clubbing in vegas? I haven't seen much discussion of it in this thread and would like to know more.

If you're into his style of music Paul Oakenfold has just started a weekly residency every saturday at the Rain nightclub. http://www.perfectovegas.com/

The only thing I know of (and I've never used it so not sure if it's of any value) is the VIP passes for Voodoo Lounge - free here:

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

amrad, there isn't much info on Vegas Clubbing, from my experience it took weeks of googling to find what I was looking for.

What kind of stuff are you into, any particular Music genre ?

If you want to see where "beautiful" people go - checkout http://vegas.napkinnights.com

The highlight for myself and the wife was the Palms, we used the website (n9negroup.com I think) to book guestlist for Ghostbar and Rain, think it was a Friday night. We are very much "Ibiza" style clubbers but enjoyed Rain, it was very much a hip-hop crowd (most of Vegas is), but as someone said above Oakenfold has started a residency there on Saturday's, so you really need to try and find a website for each individual club to know what's on.

Have a look on ebay for the user "lasvegashookups" we paid $10 for a whole host of club passes which worked a treat for us - We did Monday @ Jet in the Mirage which was full of people who looked like they thought they were celebs, red carpet and advertising boards for the cameras as you walked in :D

The passes we got included (Tao, Bank, Voodoo, Playboy Club, LAX, Pure, Jet)

We tried the "Godskitchen" night at Body English with DJ's Above and Beyond (huge Ibiza reputation), we were left very disappointed, that club felt very "Bottle service" oriented and the sound system was rubbish. (IMO)

Use http://vegas.napkinnights.com as a starting point and then start googling each individual club / dj to get a feel for it.

Hi ferf - thanks for this! I didnt know about this - its a great deal. I managed to get some free entry passes into The Voodoo Lounge on my last trip by asking at the total rewards desk, but they didnt include the queue jump - which is the best bit isnt it!!

Thanks again - I have saved this link to my favourites and hopefully I will remember to print some off the next time I am lucky enough to get to vegas!

    Amazing!

Glad it was useful and hope it works out should you use it in the future. As I said, we've never taken advantage of it but have heard of others who have. We keep saying we're going to head up for the view and then run away when the proper club starts going as it's not our scene (we aren't into anything resembling a club scene ourselves), but we never have used it. One day!

Hi ferf - Im not a huge clubber myself and would strongly recommend anyone visiting The Voodoo Lounge even if clubbing is the last thing they enjoy.

If you get there before 10pm midweek it is generally quiety and if you head outside its just like being in a normal bar - granted there is a DJ out there but early doors its just a really, really fantastic place to be. The view is out of this world & the atmosphere is amazing. WARNING - By midnight the place is packed and certainly does feel like a club - especially inside. The journey up in the lift is an experience in itself - next time you're in vegas try it early doors - Im sure you wont be disappointed. That voucher will certainly be used by me and no doubt a lot of other people on our next trip. Thanks again.
