I really, really, really, really want to see this.

Can't see it being my in-laws thing so won't be on the agenda for October...my mother-in-law did buy us tickets to see Bette Midler our first night...I'm a bit wary of a show at 7:30 the night we land, but it's the only night she's there during our trip and I am looking forward to it.
AFAIK Chriss Angel is not in this, he has just collaborated with Cirque
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Youve all got me Vegas broody! I want to plan a trip right this minute but said wouldn't go again until I'm 21. But just to keep me ticking over until then, does anyone know which hotels have views of the Bellagio fountains, obviously it would depend on the room position but just so I'd know?

I think that those days are over for the short term at least and that £500 will probably be the very best that you get due to oil prices and lest hope the pound does not fall anymore 6c all ready this week ouch!!!

this is very bad news. i guess the days of $2-£1 could not last forever and we have had a great run of high $ to £ rates. but it will hurt already streched budgets ...not least my own. and 2 weeks before we fly to USA as well.

even with the natinowdide debit card we will be lucky to get 1.85

Criss will be in the show. It will be unlike any of the other Cirque shows that are out at the mo. And will be interesting to see live animals involved with a Cirque production.

I'm trying to decide which hotel to book - we're going 9th to 15th September. I'm currently thinking move hotels after 3 nights because the weekday/weekend rates are so different.

Here are nightly the rates I'm getting at the moment for a few of the hotels.

    Luxor:
    109, 109, 59, 129, 129, 89

    MGM grand:
    99, 89, 79, 139, 159, 89

    Harrahs:
    75, 65, 55, 125, 135, 220

    NYNY:
    96, 88, 76. 170, 210, 88

    Bally's:
    50, 50, 50, 140, 140, 50

    Circus Circus:
    44, 44, 44, 92, 92, 47

    Bills:
    78, 78, 78, ?, ?, ?

    Monte Carlo:
    89, 89, 79, 139, 159, 89

    Excalibur:
    41, 41, 41, 111, 111, 61

I'm thinking the luxor for the last 3 nights as relative to other places its pretty good.

However what about the first 3 - how would you compare excalibur, monte carlo, bills, harrahs, the mgm grand, NYNY and Bally's. Bally's seems like a really good rate as does the excalibur. But are any of the others much better?

    Thanks in advance

That $50 Ballys rate is really very good indeed !!!! Ferf loves Ballys because of the big rooms and top draw location . personally i would be booked it already as £26 ish ( new exchange rate  ) for a center strip good quality hotel it is Fantastic value :T :T :T :T and beats the other offers hands down . The thing about Ballys is that it does not have any theming as such and is a tad plain ( no bad thing IMO ) , as are the rooms ( so i hear) , but ferf always rates the rooms highly for comfort and size ect , as do others .

if you split , Luxor for the last 3 nights seems a good price too.

    Hi All

Whats the best way to cancel a hotel booking (now booked a cheaper one).

Also if one now has a better rate, do I have to call them to change or can it be email?

    Thanks
