I always use this site for advice, so in case anyone is looking for a good hotel with excellent pools and child friendly, then I recommend Cancun Resort.

It is about 2 miles away from the strip along the main S LV Blvd; takes about 5 mins in the car to get to the Mandalay Bay end.

We had a two bedroomed apartment with two bathrooms, each with jacuzzi baths. It cost approx. £75 a night. The apartment was great, really flash and comfortable and the pools with water slides etc were a real hit with the kids. The pools opened at 8am and closed at 10pm - it was really fun swimming at night.

    Overall, a real hit.

No casino, but hey, there's tons up the road!

By the way, it really wasn't too hot (unbelievable but true) and taking the kids to LV for 3 nights as part of our California trip has proved to be an absolute highlight.

I found a few that I liked even if they may not be the best photos in the world, I do like them (all taken by my husband, so I cannot take credit for any of them). Two are particularly seasonal, but I figure that Christmas decorations will hit the shops in a few weeks, so hey. :) The funny thing is that I had to go back to photos from January 2004 to find many worth posting as we take so many fewer photos these days as we did in the earlier years. :)

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

maybe do a search of this thread as there's been loads of comments on this before - sorry, don't know myself as never fancied the helicopter tour (as prefer to go to the south rim and most - all? - of the heli tours go to the west rim from what I understand).

Which sort of pictures are you looking for trets?
I will try to add some to my trip report as soon as I finish sorting through them!! I am also not so sure of how to do it... Here is my first try - the Conservatory at the Bellagio. This is a 184kb image and 174 kb, are these too big?

Looking up the strip from MGM. The coke bottle and La Salsa Cantina in the picture. Incidentally, the food court with WESTGATE above it is where I saw the new incarnation of tix2nite.

MGM lion, no other explanation necessary.

    Aladdin as it was.

Both pictures were taken from the Bellagio bus stop, but the angle is slightly different.

OK, but the gold one is probably older. More people see that one too.

The first two trips with the parents, they didn't step foot in the place. They were afraid of getting lost.

(Bear in mind, they got lost in Terrible's, which is tiny in comparison. I took them in and out of all the entrances, there are only three, but they thought it was the same one each time.) They trust me to look after them, which is nice. ;)
