That is a bargain. Circus Circus is the same rate but not as good a location.illegitimi non carborundum0

Consider 2 nights at GC to avoid the expensive Sat night in Vegas. Would you believe IP goes down to $25 for Sunday 16th!!!
Caesars, Paris, Luxor, NYNY, Ballys, Monte Carlo are all either side of the $100 or so for your Sun-Thu, and most add on about $80 for the Saturday night.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

:o:o Oops sorry, they are worth £500 when converted. I should have been more specific. We are trying our best to try and boost our points to help us out, but it seems to be a lost cause.
What do you mean when you say 'be sure you know what the flight will be like though'?
Also there don't seem to be any flights from up here (NE) so we will have to get a mini bus to Manchester really.
I'm scared to book flights now in case the prices do drop, I'm scared if I don't they will go up! Also if we leave it too late we might not be able to get the dates we want.
I don't have a credit card I can earn miles on - and if I applied for one I definately would be rejected.
We did want to stay at The Wynn, but the stay was going to be about £1,000 per couple for the week.
I will keep checking those links though. Thanks!
And like I said I will be working through this thread (could take some time) :T
Virgin flights direct to Vegas are a source of much heated (although friendly:D ) debate , due to the poor quality of the plane ect.
you can only fly from Gatwick or Manchester direct at the moment . see post #1 for flight details .
you always risk your flight prices dropping or going up there is no way of saying for definate . generally booking earlier get best prices unless you fly with My travel / thomas cook. anything around £400 direct and i would swoop very quickly with the current crisis the airline industry is in.
Wynn can usually be grabbed for around $199 for week nights .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
AprilTrets --- just want to confirm (apologies, i know you've said this a million times but gave up on the search function on this site!)
Am i right in thinking that 'off-peak' it is MyTravel from Manchester that do cheap flights 2 / 1 week(s) (aka last minute) before departure date?
Can you confirm the best way to go about finding these flights (is it via. MyTravel site or ThomasCook?) - when on the site, what is the best / quickest way to search for the cheap flights
Also to confirm your first post, its only a 15kg allowance?
yep flights from manchester on Wednesdays outside traditional holiday months(June - early sept) and bank holidays, leaving booking till a few weeks out ( or later) have produced some great prices in the past . you risk the plane selling out of course the later you leave it
best search website is My travel . search for a holiday (default "sun" option in the little online form on the right hand side) to Vegas leaving on Wednesday (direct) and then select the Fly drive option that has no accommodation.
15kg last i checked , but it is upgradeable to 20 kg for £25. don't forget to deselect the meals ect as other have been given them on board despite canceling them.triggerrabbit wrote: »Hi all, quick question about hotel pools. Do all hotels that have pools, which are on the strip, let you use them free of charge providing you're staying there? Could'nt work out if you have to pay in your hotel or not.
Thanks David
assume you cannot use other places pools unless you are staying there although i imagine there are exceptions , best to call ahead in all cases i think
. if you hotel has no pool ( bills ect) it will have one you can use . but others guard their pools , none more so than Mandalay bay that check everyone who goes to their pool (strictly guests only) , and then make regular checks around the pool as well. It is probably the Best pool in Vegas though so they don't want all of the strip showing up i guess .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
AprilThe Ip is not the best hotel on the strip and not the worst, BUT for $39 a night would be getting a fantastic location an easy to navigate hotel and a perfectley adequate room....thats £20 a night....its a steal
i'll say    .
Ask for LuvTub room with the $20 trick if you go for it. IP's location is A1 , but it's nightclub is always so loud everytime i go past @ night. i'll let others advise you on the place , as i have not stayed there , just gambled in there a few times. it's casino is cheesy but fun IMO.
keep posting the photos up guys , it helps breakup loads of text !!!:A :A plus i would like to put some good ones on the guide on page 1 .
if you don't know how to post images ect in your post's read here .... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/misc.html?do=bbcodeBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

Cheers for thatnext year (for the first time ever - we usually have to pre-plan 'forever'!) we should have a bit of flexibility with holidays and therefore the opportunity to bag a last minute bargain... add to the fact we need to go to vegas and need to do it cheap, I need to suss out the cheapest method
(remember i have a £1 restaurant.com voucher to use up!!! :rotfl: )
had a look on MyTravel and it would be £50 for the pair of us to upgrade to 20kg, and we also have to pay £20 to sit together
checked on BMI and it seemed a quite good package (plenty of luggage allowance) but sacrifices may need to be made if we're to pull this off cheap
on the subject of IP - is that the place with 'Dealertainers'? Always fancied seeing them but always manage to miss them!0 -

thats them .Blondie got up to sing last time i was at her table .
Wdyw has always been the master of getting the My travel flights cheap. he had to ring them up once to secure his seats , as each section of the business has a allocation. may and april have often seen some great prices , just avoid easter , and bank holidays . you can upgrade to a exit row seats for £70 usually so would save £20 on top if you had 2 of them.
of course there is no guarantee they will still be doing the flights nect year , what with airlines cutting routes left right and center. good luck with it .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
We're not actually sure yet. Car rental looks a lot more than I had originally thought so might end up not hiring one until we leave vegas.

Even a luxury car like a chrysler300 only works out to about £25 a day all/inclusive0 -
Whoohoo we've finally booked! 6 nights in vegas from the 9th of September. Next step is to sort out a hotel! Like I mentioned, any tips on a restaurant.com restaurants would be much appreciated, bearing in mind we have a vegetarian in the group.0

IMHO the best restaurant.com vouchers are for off-strip locations...but Envy gets good reviews and is said to be very close to the Convention Center monorail stop, so perhaps that's an option for you. We liked Blondie's at Miracle Mile shops - basically pub food that would be overpriced without the voucher. Some folks like Cafe Ba Ba Reba (tapas) at Fashion Show Mall . We have a voucher we haven't yet used for Tacone at Miracle Mile as well - we like the look of their menu at least. Kahuanville at TI used to take part in the program and we loved it - but they aren't participating currently.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
