Fantastic Report.Really enjoyed reading it. I am going next month for the first time and cant wait.Did you book your Grand Canyon Trip when you got there? Is it easy to find the right place to book it. An early start would be fine for us. How much is the helipicoptor trip to GC ?
I think i would prefer that to the long bus trip to there.

    Hi,

We booked it online before we went. We went for GRAND CELEBRATION TOUR which worked in at $284pp. This link, which Trets has on page 1 of this thread, should take you into the home page.

    http://www.papillon.com/

I know PinkPinkFizz upgraded & went for the GRAND CELEBRATION FIRST CLASS and loved it. You get limo transfers, pre-flight snacks & a flight back over the strip with this one in addition to what's covered in the GRAND TOUR The cost on the site is $349pp.

    http://www.papillon.com/popris/show_package.aspx?package_id=114&lang=en-US

We didn't do this because we intended to do a night time flight over the strip - needless to say we ran out of time.

There seem to be loads of places selling these tours on the strip but since we had already sorted it beforehand we didn't even bother checking the prices/details.

    David

PS - I still can't get any of the MGM site to open.

David - thanks for the great report really enjoyed reading it!

As for the links, I don't have any problem with them so not sure why you are unable to access them. maybe try clearing your cache and temporary files? that's my first answer for any internet problem. :)

And Luci - hope you have a great trip! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Hi,

I've tried everything to help me access them & it's not work.

Before I went away it was hit & miss - sometimes I got on, sometimes I didn;t. The MGM & Luxor are the worst of the lot. I can get into alot of the other sites no problem - Harrahs, PH, Wynn etc.

It's not an issue the now as I haven't any flights booked or anything but when I do I can see it being a major pain for me. I even tried installing FIREFOX too incase it was just an INTERNET EXPLORER problem but that didn't work either.

No matter, I will get there eventually.

All I can suggest is using a different browser if you're using IE. Try downloading FireFox and try with that.

    Hi guys,
I want to join the virgin miles programme. Is there a best way to do this? Is it worth doing now even if I don't need to book a flight straight away? Is the poker deal still going? (Don't want to sign up for the white card).

    Thanks all
