Good luck on your journey! Have you got 5p to chuck at it to dip under 27k? Would be a little mental boost!

One piece of advice - don't get down with any setbacks - things will come up, some months might be slower than others, but any progress is ok!
Thank you that's such a good idea I'm sure I can manage to find that.

I love the million updates a day - I do the same - my wee DFW twin.
Haha we can keep each other going with our updates

Just cancelled 2 little subscriptions to save an extra £14.98 off my expenses each month.
  • Good stuff.

I'm gonna download all my photos from Amazon photos then cancel that - will save me £8.99 a month.

Well day 3 and I've paid £4.44 off my credit card. I've made a start on looking for items for vinted to start uploading them tomorrow.
I also managed to sign my eldest up to some free summer activities which provide lunch so that will keep him occupied for 2 weeks over the summer and save a little bit on the food bill.
I also made a start on some surveys on swagbucks and YouGov.
Will be off the rest of the week so will be batch cooking meals from the freezers to keep me busy and stop me buying more food.

  • Yay! It all makes a difference.

Well done Mimi! I recently bought the Batch Lady's cook book (in my pre-diary spending, of course!), and I have to say that her recipes have been really delicious so far.  I didn't realise she had a blog, and there are quite a lot of recipes on there too. They're not keto, but I reckon you could make a few of them as keto really easily.  I also love Sahil on Headbanger's Kitchen on YouTube for some great keto recipes.

Thank you @ShakeItOff that'll be really helpful. Keto is so much easier if everything is prepped for the week although I'm rather lackadaisical when it comes to doing it.

Well I am managing ok, starting keto fully today now I've got stuff organised so fingers crossed I'm on the way with that.
Forgot about a kids party we have today so had to spend £10 on a present but I was pleased to get something reasonably priced in the sale.
Hopefully I can make that back with my vinted sales this week.
I've been keeping myself busy with my sewing machine this week as I'm trying to use up my fabric stash as we will be moving house in a couple of months and will be easier to move clothes than a pile of fabric.
Next week will be focused on decluttering and packing so hopefully that keeps me from spending money next week.
Now the school holidays are coming up quickly I am hoping to save up spending money for our trip to cornwall. We will be staying with family for part of it and staying in a caravan for part. The caravan is already paid for so that's good and not it's just saving up some money for food and petrol for the 6 hour drive each way.
Any tips for free or cheap days out in cornwall would be great if you know any.
  • Aw I would love to visit Cornwall but that's a longgggggggggggg trip for me. I'm in Glasgow and also my ex is in Plymouth so a tad too close for comfort!

Get on trip advisor and have a wee look.
