They only have a generic info email. Should they have a specific email of DPO?Fruitcake said:
OH needs to instruct the DPO of the PPC to erase their data and replace it with the current address for service. Make sure you use the word I have highlighted as it has a specific meaning where data handling is concerned.KoalaMSEF said:
Thanks! OH tried to update our address with the parking company and they dared to say it was DVLA thing (!!!) Oh God! Who are those people?!Half_way said:If not since do already, take a look at UKPC Vs Davey, and point your solicitors to it
If they have the address they got from the DVLA, then guess where they will send a court claim, knowing it is the wrong one.0 -

I've just re-read your whole thread and cannot see that you have told us the name of the parking company.
But of course I may have missed it.1 -

Yes it’s the same email address.0

You simply tell them updating the address with the parking firm is nothing to do with the dvla and they are required to erase old data

Email them back.
Talk about your legal right to rectification and erasure of old or inaccurate data. Insist. Tell the DPO you will report them to the ICO if they refuse to allow your data rights.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No reply yet from the parking company. On the other hand, after 3 complaints, MA has came back with a misleading interpretation of the lease. The lease allows MA to employ parking control but ONLY to manage visitors parking (non-residents). This does NOT apply to residents. This is also what our solicitors have confirmed. However, MA interpreted, wrongly, that this clause of employing parking control also applies to residents. Basically, we do not have a contrast with parking company and will not recognise their T&C. We do have a contract with MA. MA has a contract with the parking company who violated our rights. Hence, MA holds vicarious liabilities, plus breach of contracts by misinterpreting the legal documents and employing an agent (parking company) who trespass. Our case could and should be resolved easily by MA or the parking company because we are new owners who have no idea about this setup that isn't in the lease, but somehow it is just so difficult to talk some sense here. We will see.0
