Parking in own space/IAS as Kangaroo court/complaint to MA and freeholder

The CAB service, as far as I know was written with advice from the trade association that seeks to ensure the private parking industry can make as much money as possible by pursuing motorists and making people think there are fines and should be paid  etc

No. He tried to pay yesterday and I stopped him. The deadline is next Thursday. I'm afraid I can't stop him much longer. 

Fired up another complaint to MA. Our solicitors have agreed to speak to MA for clarification this morning, as apparently, during the conveyancing, our solicitor was told, the particular parking bay is NOT under control but any surrounding area is. Somebody has lied in the process. 

CAB's advice is out there in their website. I can't post link now as I'm a newbie at this forum. The page is named - Appealing a parking ticket - citizens advice. 

CAB's web chat went straight into debt. When I said this was not about debt, she kicked me out. So Never went back to it after. 

Why on earth does he want to pay? Has the penny not dropped that there is no risk, if the Forum is followed? Yes, ok if you lost at Court you would pay a little more than the discount 'bribe' but that is all. You would though have fought back against scammers that want to rob you, and the MA who are letting you down.

You say you have it in writing that the conveyancer  said they cannot control your demised space. I am not legally trained, but it does seem to me that that alone would probably win if ever it got to Court. Moreover, I believe that if it appeared in a strong defence , there would likely be a discontinuation.

The alternative is to be bullied into paying an unfair charge AND as @Half-way said by paying accept the situation and then that stick can be used against you any time they feel like it. Don't you want "quiet enjoyment" of your premises ?

That CAB page is so wrong on so many levels. Citizens Advice even call it a fine.

Sigh....

What are they talking about with the daft advice to 'make two claims' Whaaat?!

Our solicitors said this morning they are writing to MA and will let me know once they receive any response. I will continue to send complaints to MA every two days for failing duty of care, breach of contract, and vicarious liability due to their contractor's unlawful behaviours towards us. Will update if there is any progress. Many thanks everybody. Really appreciated!

Please post their reply. They have to update any address when instructed to do so

OH needs to instruct the DPO of the PPC to erase their data and replace it with the current address for service. Make sure you use the word I have highlighted as it has a specific meaning where data handling is concerned.
If they have the address they got from the DVLA, then guess where they will send a court claim, knowing it is the wrong one.

I can see what you mean, mostly but you need to have a stern word with your spill chucker (spell checker)!
