80% voted in favour so it'll be delisted and those who don't tender their shares or sell before it's delisted on c.02/06/25 will own shares in an unlisted company.

Yesterday's RNS announcement states that the tender offer is still open, though:

"The Offer remains open for acceptance until further notice and IDS Shareholders who have not yet accepted the Offer are urged to do so as soon as possible.

    ...

Under UK Listing Rule 21.2.13R, IDS announces that the notice period for the cancellation of listing and trading of the IDS Shares has now commenced and cancellation of listing and trading of the IDS Shares is expected to take effect no earlier than 8.00 a.m. on 2 June 2025."

Do you recall when we will be paid for the shares we've given up?
See upthread: "within" 14 days of the offer becoming unconditional so it should be at anytime between now and 14/05 but these things always depend on the vagaries of brokers, registrars and the banking system.
Thanks. My broker has closed my account as it's the only holding I have with them so I'm unable to see anything online. But I'll call them on the 14th May.
Did you get your payment yet?
I had two lots, for one I got a cheque but on the other my broker A/C now shows 0 shares outstanding  but no sign of payment.
I think I posted an update on one of the other Royal Mail threads. Yes, I received a cash payment for the shares into my IDSA but nothing yet for the dividend. I will call them next week. Seems the timescales are dependent on the broker

I've now had the dividend payment into my ISA. Hoping for a swift transfer out.

Hi, we bought Royal Mail shares back in the day, like others had these converted to IDS shares. Using the Equaniniti website we can login etc but our portfolio shows £0.00 for IDS? We haven't cashed in the shares so are baffled by this, and find the correspondence received re these shares totally incomprehensible. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?  Many thanks for any input.

Isn't it always the way? In today's post was a letter informing us of our RM/IDS share redemption that will be paid into our account....So, back whenever we must've requested this. Wrong choice of course, now the shares are on the up..... :D

What do you mean? They're trading at 359p/360p and if you tendered them you'll receive 360p per share and an 8p special dividend.

You obviously agreed to sell them "Mrs Angry" so you did infact receive the paperwork?

Yes, up to the tender offer price (not redemption).
