Got my 2 dividend payments this morning, hoping to receive the money from the sale of my shares sometime this week .
tiger70  - you got 2 dividend payments??? thought we were just meant to have 8p per share dividend. Could you explain more, many thanks.
I also got two. When the shares were issued, I bought for myself and my wife (2 lots in total).

I work for Royal Mail, when it was privatised we all got free shares and I also bought shares from my salary , I received a dividend from my SIP share account and also 1 from my Royal Mail nominee share account .

Cheques are a real nuisance, this is the first one I've had to process in years. Now I've got to travel to my nearest Bank branch to lodge it.

My mother is still a regular user of cheques for birthdays, Christmas etc and I feel the same. Although TBH most banks now accept payment in of cheques via their app - you just photograph the cheque and they pay it to your account. Do you have that option?

You can't pay it in via an app? E.g., Lloyds/Halifax/BoS allow cheques up to £10,000 per day.

Ah, seems Nationwide are one of the few(?) that don't allow that option. Unlucky!

80% voted in favour so it'll be delisted and those who don't tender their shares or sell before it's delisted on c.02/06/25 will own shares in an unlisted company.

Yesterday's RNS announcement states that the tender offer is still open, though:

"The Offer remains open for acceptance until further notice and IDS Shareholders who have not yet accepted the Offer are urged to do so as soon as possible.

    ...

Under UK Listing Rule 21.2.13R, IDS announces that the notice period for the cancellation of listing and trading of the IDS Shares has now commenced and cancellation of listing and trading of the IDS Shares is expected to take effect no earlier than 8.00 a.m. on 2 June 2025."

Do you recall when we will be paid for the shares we've given up?
See upthread: "within" 14 days of the offer becoming unconditional so it should be at anytime between now and 14/05 but these things always depend on the vagaries of brokers, registrars and the banking system.
Thanks. My broker has closed my account as it's the only holding I have with them so I'm unable to see anything online. But I'll call them on the 14th May.
Did you get your payment yet?
I had two lots, for one I got a cheque but on the other my broker A/C now shows 0 shares outstanding  but no sign of payment.
