Thanks for your information. I searched the FCA website and it does state unauthorised. However it is strange that T212 bank with JPMorgan and Chase are underwritten by JPMorgan and don’t recognise T212.I registered here to share my experience having been a follower of MSE for years and didn’t want anyone else to go through the experience.0

The bank in question is Natwest and they just don't recognise either "Trading 212 UK Limited or "JPMorgan Chase Bank" in their "add a business to pay" field, Natwest say it's Trading 212's problem, Trading 212 have not been very helpful either, any thoughts by anyone?
Failing that contact Trading 212 & ask what details you should be using.
Given I guess the payment goes to a generic account, it may throw up a error, which you could ignore.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. Also have the problem getting the money accross, 212 replied saying it can take upto 3 days not including weekends for a bank transfer to show so 5 days they can hold the money if including the weekend if they do it that way; I'd rather have they interest rather than the financial cowboys getting it; if only one could trust the app to link through buts its to dangerous!

Otherwise I use the opening banking link - is this what you think is dangerous? - and that's instant.0 -
I completed the transfer into my Trading 212 Cash ISA from my HSBC account on 31st July.
Few seconds later, I received a text alert from HSBC to call their Fraud Department regarding the transfer.
I immediately called HSBC and I was informed that there has been several scam activities in connection with Trading 212.
That was the reason they didn't release the fund from my Account.
Not sure what to do, I asked them to return the money back into my Account.
I would have loved to take advantage of the 5 20% interest but I'm not so sure now.

Same kind of issue here - cannot connect to First Direct account.
Spoke to FD and they confirmed they had done all they could to set up the instant bank transfer, but 212 had rejected it because my FD account name is in the format of <my name> and 212 is <my name>@yahoo.com and they don't match........ Card transfer did not work either and a £5 test bank transfer I did 24 hours ago is not yet showing. Their live chat comes up with "😔 It might take longer than usual to connect you to an agent. We appreciate your patience." and then nothing - until 10 hours later in the middle of the night an agent replied but by then I had of course wandered off.
Not really that confident if I put money in I would ever see it again TBA. Does anyone have any positive things to say about this platform?Edible geranium0 -

That cannot be the actual name on your account, can it? When you look in settings - my account - personal details does it actually show that in the, “Full Name” field?
If you look it up on Companies House you can find its annual reports and it’s been consistently profitable for years. It primarily makes its money from CFD punters but it’s trying to diversify into stock broking. IIRC I opened my account in 2019.3 -
Looks like T212 will only connect to sole accounts despite the website saying it will connect to joint accounts - fair enough I suppose. Had to use an old TSB current account which had a few hundred in which I keep for emergencies in case I loose my card, etc.Edible geranium0
