You'd do better asking NatWest then reporting back as I doubt that there is anyone on here who a) had a Sainsbury's card and b) already tried to switch it to a NatWest branded card
Thanks. Yes will do. I just meant in general can you move to a different product in their portfolio without having to cancel and re-apply.

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Varies by bank, a quick google suggests NW you have to apply for a new card whereas with Halifax I was able to switch to the Clarity with no issue

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I was able to easily switch cards with Barclaycard. There's even a section labeled "Change to a different card" in the Barclaycard app.

I've changed an existing card to a different type with Natwest a few years back (both were Mastercards though, and the Travel Reward is a Visa uniquely).

Fair, was just what it said on the NW site when I looked today
