Haha, no big plans, unfortunately! We are not in our forever home at the moment, so when the mortgage is paid off the money I will be saving on that will be going into a savings account to be used for a new home and another MFW journey 🤣 How about you?

Aww, well l hope you take a little time to pause, and reflect on what you've achieved and perhaps a small treat 🎁 to mark the occasion.

    Our plans for June 26...

    1) Book a family holiday for later in the year. Its also our 25th wedding anniversary so l would love to go on a just the two of us break we've both been saving for this for a while.

    2) Focus on building up our very depleted savings.

Long term, we need to establish how we will manage financially in the future. My pension is very small and Mr Ck doesn't even have one 😢!!. But with +15 years left at work there is time to improve the situation. We have talked about buying a second rental so that would mean yet another MFW journey.

Also planning to move house at some point, not until our youngest has finished school (6 years away) and at least one, maybe both, of our eldest children have moved out - the timeline could be infinite 🤣. I want to downsize hence the need for less permanent bodies in the house.

    Afternoon all,

The NSD streak continues !! Although l confess l came VERY close to buying lunch today.

I was starving at work, following an early morning work out.

I should have made at least a sandwich to bring with me but didn't. Anyway, managed to find an old pot noodle at the back of the work cupboard (4 months out of date) tasted awful 😒  don't think it would have been better even if it was in date. Just had to make a coffee to get rid of the vile after taste.

Note to self - always bring lunch or be prepared to suffer the consequences 🤣

I spent the rest of my lunch looking at abroad holidays for next year can't wait.  Very grateful for the free sunshine were having here atm. Let's hope it continues until our camping holiday.

    Evening all,

Well, my NSD has finally been broken splashed out on a "new to me dress on vinted" £8.44 spent.

I'm really struggling today with the heat  🥵 made it to the food shops early, but nothing left in the tank for the gym today.

I did plan to sort out the kids wardrobes to list on vinted but - nope no energy or motivation.

Hopefully lots of water and an early night will give me the energy to hit the gym 💪🏽 in the morning.

Thank you @V3cash. I had a very spendy June so needed to rein it in. I'm fine as long as l can stay away from the shops physically or online. What l haven't seen l can't miss.

Trouble is that I've been looking for things for the kids lately, and then somehow 🤔 l end i up buying things for me.

    Evening all,

I'm grateful that the weather has cooled, while, still nice and sunny.

l had quite a few errands to run today, picking up teachers gifts, dropping of a refund, buying a new top for the last day of term l mean, why couldn't they just go in there uniform and save me the hassle 🙄

Tried and failed to order school uniform, knew l should have got on it earlier. This time last year l was all done including bags, stationary, everything, apart from shoes bit disappointed but l have reminded myself there are 6 weeks still to go 😂

Also chased up my delay repay claim dating back to May, I've not done one before and its proving to be quite a task, l called them on Monday, then again today for 50 mins. a short while later l received a message saying that it wasn't right so I'm back to square one. Very frustrating l emailed customer services and will follow up on Friday. I can see why people cant be bothered. Its not even about the money its the principle of the matter.

I made it to the gym on Sunday but picked up a back twinge in the process ☹️ haven't been back since but l feel better today and have packed my bag ready for tomorrow morning before work.

Its been nearly 5 weeks since we sent the financial information to the interested company. We haven't even received an acknowledgement. I have no experience in these matters but l was hoping we would have received some communication by now. Obviously, we don't want to make the first move or appear desperate. How long is too long to wait before you say something??

I've just read back through my waffling's🤣🤣, l was meant to be posting to say... "despite multiple shops visited today l have maintained NSD since Sunday".

    Have a good evening.

    Afternoon all

I'm having a decent day so far...

Made it to the gym nice and early so enough time for a decent work out,  had the will power to decline a free, warm Greggs sausage roll 😇

Found some brand new M&S school shirts on vinted for £5. So that's one think off the list.

Also received £360 rent money, immediately paid off the mortgage.

    New balance £39,440.
