What's the best rate EA(ish) NLA account that you(one) can still pay in to (payable)?
Immediate thoughts
Santander Edge 7.00 (£4k max x 2) if you extended NLA.
Cahoot Simple svr Iss1/2 5.12 NLA
Cynergy iss 69 5.00 (inc bonus until 11 March 2025 - (depending on opening date?)) And earlier issues still payable? NLA
Cov BS online triple 4.95
Edit to take out Barclays RDS and the current Santander as still available shown in the ToTP smaller accounts listing.1 -

You need to empty the old savings account before the new one becomes available.0 -
True EA accounts are those which can be opened, and the headline rate earned, with just £1, are not limited to smaller balances, and allow for unlimited deposits and withdrawals. True Instant EA are those True EA accounts which advertise immediate transfer times 24/7. Highlights reflect changes in rates since last time.Predictably, almost every account listed has fallen in the wake of the base rate cut at the start of August. cahoot, not for the first time, jumps to the top of both tables and kicks Post Office Money off the scorecard - though if I waited a few days it would have been Chip that got knocked off, given their planned reduction next week.Note that I nearly put Plum's Easy Access Interest Pocket for Basic (free) customers in the True Instant EA table as it offers 4%, however, I noticed access to funds is not quite instant 24/7, though it may be good enough for some. Monzo also offers a 3.85% True Instant EA account for current account holders but I've gone with the order accounts are listed on the moneyfacts website.MPC announces its next decision on Thursday 19th.

Has anyone noticed a slowing down of the Tandem app recently? It is taking me upwards of a minute to log in, then similar times to get the pages I need. The actual transfer time of the cash is great - within seconds. But the faff getting there is somewhat frustrating now. And before anyone says, all my other banking apps are working at usual speed.

Tandem have been a pain in the backside recently, upgrading the app led to me having to reset my login, now Tandem want people to upgrade to passkey login.
I don't understand why, things were working fine before all this.

Just received an email from HSBC regarding interest rates which will be reduced for the Online Bonus Saver account from 18th November 2024.
It seems to be the standard rate which is reducing, where a withdrawal is made or the account is closed. The overall bonus rate remains the same. 🤔
The Flexible Saver rate is reducing from 2% to 1.75% on the 18th November 2024.7 -
@soulsaver sorry just a little confused about your last post on the No Chat thread
"Santander Edge 7.00 (£4k max x 2) if you're still on the first year (by refreshing) NLA."
Mine is only 4 months old but if I refresh it, won't it go down to the new 6%?0
