Cahoot, I have both my Simple Saver 5.12% and Sunny Day Saver 5% 'maturing' after 12 months yesterday.
Today they have both become Cahoot Savings Account at 1.20%, I checked when I got up early hours, but neither have had the interest added. Odd.

What have others had happen with theirs?
My Simple and Sunny morphed on 18th January, but interest was added on 19th.  They communicated this in advance so I expected the interest to be added the day after.

I thought it is 4.65% EPR (4.75% AER).  It is a bit confusing, says "4.65% Gross p.a. / AER" on my app.

    Is 4.65 the monthly rate?

Do you think that this might be an opportunity by Gatehouse to introduce a lower rate on this account from the ERG account that drops to the current rate of this EA on 30/01?

Edit: (Otherwise there would be 2 virtually identical Gatehouse accounts at 4.65%/4.75% by 30/01)

If you're a new customer then that's not a bad idea, you'll get 5% for 6 months, then 3.25% after.
If you're an existing chase customer beware the rate will be going down from 3.5% to 3.25% on 19th Feb

The current chase boost offered to new customers is 1.5% so my understanding is that the current 5% only lasts until 19th Feb then will reduce to 4.75%.
    This is my understanding too

Interest is calculated daily so it will drop six months after you opened the account, which is 23rd July. It will also drop if the BoE base rate is cut.

I'm very concerned about Chip's policies and use of personal financial data. Currently it looks like they want access to bank accounts to view transactions so they can sell these to data brokers for highly targetted marketing.

Their privacy policy allows them to share this data with anyone they deem appropriate. I can't link to their Privacy Policy but you can find it on their site.

T‍hey don't explicitly say they do it but it's very clear from the wording in the policy on data sharing, and also this point from section 21. Withdrawing consent: "Chip will not disclose your information to any third party for marketing purposes, without your further consent." Clearly if you can withdraw consent for this then it means they are doing it.
