I just need to check first I have all the figures, then log on to HMRC and filling thier major long form.Kitchen is doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning round, Jazee, YL and everyone else who's up by now. Rosie woke me up at 5.15, wanting to go out and check whether the fox had visited during the night, so I'd done Wordle and Connections (only got 2 lines), updated my to-do list for the week (hectic!) and finished my second cuppa by 7.00.
Round, well done on getting the bulk of the application form filled in. To satisfy your curiosity: I usually get showered and dressed after breakfast, just because I'm retired and not usually in a rush to go out, but I tend to do it the other way round on Sundays because church starts at 10 and DH is much later waking and getting out bed than I am. It would be a great deal easier for me to make my own breakfast so that I can get out on time, but DH gets very grumpy if I have to take over what he considers his designated job - he does very little in the house and nothing in the garden anyway, so I really don't want to reduce his 'helping' hours any further.
Today I have fitted in a walk for Rosie and we've had lunch early as we have to be at an event well before 2pm if we are to get seats.7 -
hi all
i shower and dress before breakfast, though I may have a coffe in bed, less so now i’m on these tablets though.
I’m not a pj and lounge in nightwear evening person either…if i’m in nightwear downstairs I’m likely to be unwell.
Washing has been out and blown dry so i brought it in, veg for Sunday dinner all prepped and chicken in the oven. I’m pleased about the washing…mostly bedding.It’s. dry windy, there are ominous black clouds but so far it’s been dry.
Well done on the job application. Make sure you save a copy and don’t forget your covering letter needs to outline transferable skills…especially people skillsDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

45 years ago on a motor yacht delivery job across the Atlantic we used to have Debbie Harry on as the transatlantic disco to keep us awake on watch late at night and in the early hours. Tonight I'm listening to her perform on Plymouth Hoe from my Room of Doom. Takes me right back to those throbbing engines (oh er mrs). Sting later.Well done on the job application Round. I'm pleased you're making a positive move about the job you find so stressful. It's very rarely the work we find stressy unless we're completely swamped by it, it's pretty much always the people behaving like twonks.Today I have gently tackled my Room of Doom, and have cleared away piles and piles of gibble, binning some, recycling some, CS-piling some, and shoving some up, sorted into boxes, into the attic because it's stuff I only use very occasionally.I've even dusted. The room looks 1000 times better.Better is good enough.6

some excelkent flying and admin.
well done peeps
Lemon posset and almond shortbread was v. good. Pa said ‘they go together’…. given the recipe was for lemon posset served with almond shortbread shards I couldn’t go wrong, really. I even served it up Masterchef style…’ I have made you lemon posset served with a shard of almond shortbread’.
DD let me finish hers, too. 😁Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
