ETA Note to self. CBT and CBS are different things. (I was briefly convinced that YL was experimenting with cannabis! I don't need to do that, I can get high on NN's fumes in the garden. Cough.)
Tired and headachy today, but less anxiety which is good. I ran the cordless vac around and made the spare bed up while DH cooked tea.
I feel like an early night is needed.7 -
Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, eaten breakfast, completed Wordle, managed two lines on Connections, and I'm supping my brew. All before my alarm would normally off! I turned it off when I got up at 6.20 am.
I'm now the proud owner of a 25m extension cable 🙌 So, weather permitting, I'll be able to strim the jungle in the back garden at the weekend. Of course it will now rain all weekend, but I live in hope.
Hope everyone is OK. Have a good day

Oh. And I brought myself the USA Flylady book: Sink Reflections. Watch this space! I'm even going to try wearing lace up shoes - well, trainers but they're the only shoes I have with laces 😊. First thing I had to do was Google 'dishpan'. 🤔 🙃
Xx

Hello all. Hope you're all okay.
So far today I am dressed, Poppet has been walked, I've done some dailies including a mountain of dishes, one work shift and been here for a workman repair.
Going to select a new book for kindle, read for a bit, have lunch and the see if I can be bothered to fly.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
WUALTD, washing out, recycling added to bin which is awaiting emptying, done a bit of pruning and dead heading and seed pod removal so that's all gone in the green bin.

What's going on? Where is everyone? Has all flying been abandoned due to unseasonal weather? Have you all boarded the flylady plane and jetted off to warmer climes? I didn't get the memo 😞. Couldn't join you anyway - no passport and not inclined to get on a plane. So unless I find a Harry Potter style portal I'm staying here 🥶
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, packed my lunch, completed Wordle and Connections (woot woot), eaten breakfast and supped my brew.
TGIF. Noise levels in my office yesterday were not acceptable. Plus an email came out saying there's now a block on advertising admin vacancies - ie if someone leaves they can't advertise for a replacement, so the rest of you have to cover the work. On minimum wage! Hmmm. I cannot tell a lie. That appealed to my mean streak. What better time for me to leave? Mwahaha. Job application account has been opened and I've started to complete the form. Luckily I have until 1st July to complete it. Hoping to get it done this weekend though.
I'll put out the recycling and feed the birds before I toddle off to the (under)paid stuff.
Come out. Come out. Wherever you are.

Morning, round and everyone.
Apologies for not having posted much recently. I have good days and bad days, and unfortunately the seesaw has recently gone down on the painful side rather than the pain-free. I am managing the dailies and other essentials, but that's about it - I'm still working my way through last week's to-do-list.
We did have a very pleasant unplanned day out on Wednesday. The weather forecast suggested that it might rain, but in fact we enjoyed sunshine and warmth (both of which are good for my bones). We went to a local NT property with Rosie and had a jacket potato lunch outside on the terrace of the new courtyard restaurant (very nice it is too). Afterwards I walked Rosie on the lead, as required, for a fair distance across the estate, chatting to several other dog walkers en route. Meanwhile DH wandered round the formal gardens and apparently chatted to various strangers who were also admiring the plants (DH knows almost nothing about gardening!). Meeting up again outside the old café (where dogs are welcome inside, but space and the menu are both quite limited), DH offered cream teas. Obviously I couldn't refuse, so after all that food we didn't need an evening meal
Today's aspirations include
- shower and dress, S&S bathroom
- make my bed
- eat breakfast, S&S kitchen
- book tickets for an art exhibition
- buy some books for my K!nd1e app
- phone/email some friends
- get my glasses fitting checked again, as they're still hurting
- walk Rosie, however the rain which is forecast to continue all day has just started, so it will be a short one
- ask DH to hoover up the dog moult in the LR
- continue planning the celebration lunch for H&F on 23rd: it will be as simple as I can make it - definitely none of that Mrs Bucket's vol-au-vents!
- keep taking the parrots every 6 hours and rest as needed.
I don't expect to manage all of them.
Well done on dealing with your anxiety, YL x
Happy form-filling, round x
Hope everyone has a good day xxx8 -
6k walked so far, went to local town, to see what they were upto with the £25million they have been given for sea defences, they have taken some groynes out, so they can move very big tonka toys up and down the beach which are carrying metal pileing stuff, had to laugh each one of these machine is 'escorted' by 2 people to make sure the public stay out of the way, there is no one actually on the beach, plus they told me they are stopping work for the day as the tide is coming in and they cannot work when it is like that!!Shopping done and away.It is now light raining all over my washingBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
