OK, been testing the TV, and its not bad:D

The sound is FANTASTIC, but the picture quality is GOOD. Can't really blame the tv though, since our aerial is a bit dodgy, and ntl/Virgin Media have crap picture quality:rolleyes:

The freeview looks good on it though:beer:

My other half tried to get this deal but missed out. Pity really because he actually wanted both the TV & PS3 to keep....

Comet do a 40" 1080p Sony Digital TV £799. I collected from my local store and they had plenty of stock at the time.

The Sony Stores have this for £849 and will give you £100 off a PS3 or Blu-Ray DVD Player. If they price match the Comet price, that's £999 for the 'package' (if my maths are right) plus you get the 5 year warranty from Sony. They also had the KDL40V2900 for the sameprice, with the KDL40V3000 at £999 with a PS3 for just £99.

Now I am officially confused (not to mention slightly miffed as I specifically requested JL vouchers for Chrimbo!)

Cant even get them to do it for £999 anymore so no chance with £899, but good luck if anyone can.

currys were doin it 4 £899 yesterday...just the tv..but u get a glass stand for half price...not a bad deal for a tv with this spec!

I got a buyer for my PS3. £250, is that a fair price? (he is my mate, so I dont wanna rip him off, but I dont wanna give it to him cheaply either...)
