Well i have now gone 3 days without eating meat, longest in my entire life, if it makes no difference to my weight loss will be eating a cow next week! :rotfl:

I have never ever seen a fat vegetarian in my life.

I am only eating meat on Friday evening aND SATURDAY lunch.

  • I am not having a go at people for choosing to use artificial sweeteners after all I choose to drink booze when I know it isn't particularly good for me (at the levels I drink anyway);).

I just don't like the health risks associated with artificial sweeteners, I am less bothered about whether or not they make you fat so I don't use them.

Anyhow - diet out of the window for me, I had a hige pizza for lunch - unrefined white flower, loads of saturated fat - my arteries are furring and my bowels clogging as I type. But it tasted bloody good :D

Well done for eating the pizza. I am just having minestrone soup with two plain croissants for lunch. I know, I know, too much wheat.

  • I love meat too much to go veggie. I don't agree with the slaughter practices but if I didn't eat meat I'd disappear! :rotfl:

  • IA, eat kosher or halal meat, they kill the animal in the "best" possible way, causing as little suffering as possible. I do that. I believe that it does make a difference. a happy animal that hasn't suffered has healthier meat and overall, it's got a much better energy than a tortured one....

I do think some animals are meant to be eaten, but I could do without meat, neither like nor dislike too much...

  • Ive been hiding from this thread for a while, I fell off the wagon.
To my amazement I havent put on but have stayed the same.It started with a takeaway with friends, then my ladies "bad week", then out to lunch with mum and everything escalated.
Ive been trying very hard this week, have walked everywhere and been swimming with my children today.I hope to be back on track on my next weigh in.
I found out today my school year are having a reunion in may and I cant go like this, what would I say hi im fat shal, im in debt, i have a great job but drive an old car and live in a house well below the price band I should be in.I need to make me proud again.
    Thanks for listening.
