I think the most common weigh in day seems to be either Friday or Saturday. I do a Saturday morning but not this week as I only properly started my diet this morning, but I've been calorie counting since Wednesday. I'm hoping for a substantial loss this week as I've included lots of exercise in my plan this time around and am taking some herbal supplements that I've been told help to stimulate the metabolism when exercising (cant hurt eh?).

I think I forgot to add on my original post when asking to join the challenge that my target is to lose 28lbs or 13kg and I've given myself until Easter to do it. Its roughly 12 weeks, so as long as I lose at least 1kg a week then I think its definitely doable.

Oops, I forgot to post my weight yesterday :o

Now weighing in at 7st 3lb, whoops.

Going for a walk tomorrow to hopefully help shift some, and have admitted to OH I'm on a diet so that he can remind me  . Like last night when he said 'fancy fish and chips for dinner' and I forgot I was dieting so devoured some. I hadn't said anything to him till this morning as I hate other people knowing that I'm failing hence not saying beforehand

  • Hi all
    right took the plunge and weighed and measured this morning :o:o , my measurements are as follows;

    Height; 5' 4", Weight: 13'6  , Waist: 38" , Hips 42" , Bust 43" ;)

now my chart from February 1991

    Height 5'4", Weight: 10' 12, Waist: 31.5", Hips 38", Bust 38"!!!!!!
    I slimmed then to; weight = 10'2, waist = 28", hips = 36" and bust 37".

    If only!!!!

I'm not being strict just trying to be sensible, cutting out the rubbish and doing more exercise.

You have all done so well :T I hope I can match it - still have so much rubbish left over from Christmas :p !!!
    love and hugs

  • Hello

Can I join this challenge too please? I would like to loose a stone and a half. I can't measure myself at the moment as I don't have a tape measure (feeble excuse I know!!! )

I joined Slimming World On Line at the end of November and lost a couple of pounds in the first week :D but then it went downhill. It was my 30th Birthday and then Christmas and then last week I weighed myself and discovered I was a pound heavier than when I started

I have now stuck to my diet and have lost 1 1/2 lbs this week :D . But I need some encouragement as I am struggling.

My weigh in day is Fridays anyway so am happy to update on here too.

    Thank you

My Davina DVD has finally arrived, so I have done one of her 30 minute workouts this evening, am really impressed with it-a good mix of toning things and aerobic stuff, and I was all out of puff by the time I finished (probably because I am so unfit, not because it is incredibly difficult!)

Friend is dropping off her copy of Paul McKennas I can make you thin book and cd, which she said helped her lose loads of weight, so I shall see how I get on with that!

The proper diet bit starts monday for me, so got to eat all the rubbish food in the house tomorrow in preparation :rotfl: and make lots of soup, to get me through the beginning of the week.

May even post my measurements at some point!

    Ummm

Bacon Sarnie for lunch yesterday and then we ended up going out for a friends birthday dinner to The OutBack.

Thank god the schools are back tomorrow, it seems to mean that socialising grinds to a halt!

I've had a good day so far today, had toast, a cheese and salad sandwich, and am just making a chicken and root veg casserole...yum! Did just pinch one of Stu's sweets, but they don't count if they are stolen, do they? :o
