I may not have entirely grasped the concept of 'diet'... :rotfl:

I'm drinking a G & T and the main reason is that chocolate and cheese both taste awful with it! would love a wee glass of red wine though...

But I've got plenty of ice in it - that has to count towards my water for the day, no? :p

well did the weighing and measuring today.

    I am 10 stone 8 and measure

    41
    36
    40

and I am only 5 feet 2 inches.

This is really depressing and I had planned for today to be number 1 day - I even bought some diet pills from ebay (not arrived yet, probably a good thing). After no breakfast, boiled egg for lunch and some "excercise" (riding lovely forward going pony) I tucked into beijing duck, cheese and crackers, chocolates, sherry and wine. Omigod. Where Does one buy WillPower??
  • Helloooo everybody! Cor, you guys have done really well - has it really been a week??? :o

I joined Weight Watchers Online yesterday - they have a week's free trial so I figured if I use it/it enlightens me etc it might be a good idea to keep track of things, especially as their points plan gives an allowance for breastfeeding (all to be used on chocolate :D)... logging what I ate yesterday, it added up to about 10% more than they recommend  so I've got to be careful today. I should start making soup again and just eat that by the bucket load...

I also bought some scales so I can keep track of things... I'm going to aim for 10lb initially and then see from there. Still not had the guts to do any measurements though :o

I'm going to do a long walk with the baby in a sling today, that's practically weight training!

    Is anyone else on WW?
  • Well I'm going to be working 12.30-5.30 today so fingers crossed I lose some flab running up and down ladders all day :rotfl:

Yep, I do weight watchers online as it works out cheaper than going to meetings (£9.95 a month rather than about a fiver a week) plus you get cashback through quidco :)

I love the online points tracker and it's the only thing that stops me from eating that extra biscuit or a packet of crisps! It's amazing how far the points can actually stretch when you don't eat junk too. Some days I have actually struggled to eat all my points.

Well I weighed myself this morning and I now since the partying's stopped and I have no more excuses I have a starting weight of 13st 5 so I'm aiming to lose between 2 and 3 stone...

Must confess though I've been away from this thread for a few days and I'm thoroughly lost now...
    When's the weigh-in day?
And have we got a list of everyone involved or are we not doing that sort of thing to track achievements?
