September 5th.
My dress now officially fits... sorta. I mean I can get it on and do it up but I would like to have a bit more wiggle room inside the ribcage bit so I'm not stopping there with the weightloss:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
No, keep going esp if you are finding things fairly easy.

Heh, I think easy is a relative term. I've been losing the same kilo on and off for the last three weeks. I'm pretty certain its gone for good this week though. I always thought "pah!" to the skinny people who moaned about struggling to lose the last 10lbs of their diet, but seriously I didn't work this hard to lose the other 70 odd lbs combined. I'm knackered. I think its all perception though, subconsciously I know I'm coming up to the end of my "diet" so deep down in the murky recesses of my mind I dont think I need to be so strict with what I eat and we all know no matter how much exercise you do if you are eating too much/many calories you arent going to lose any weight. Plus I was doing the whole calorie counting thing and with me, give me 1300kcals to spend and I'll choose to starve all day and have a big mac for dinner
whereas if I follow a healthy eating plan that tells me what to eat I'm happy to stick to it. I do best with a bit of structure in my life :rotfl:

Having never been at this weight in the past I really don't know how I'm going to cope with maintaining. I'm hoping I can get away with just weighing once a month to make sure it isn't creeping back on and upping the exercise/ lowering the calories for a week or so if it is. I dont ever want to do this again so I'm planning on this being a long term thing. If I ever get there.
Dont be too hard on yourself, I know only too well how easy it is to fall into the trap of 'this wont hurt'. Get back on the horse and know you'll do better this time having learnt something from the experience.:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
Hi guys,
I've read sooo many pages of this thread, and know that most of you have been going for ages, but i wondered if i could still join in?
I have been on a diet with OH since beginning of May, he's lost 2 stone and i've lost 1st. I'm starting to struggle a bit at the mo though. Lost naff all this week!!
Have my sights set on my holiday in September to have lost another 2 stone. Don't know if that's realistic, but i'll give it my best shot! Got to keep my motivation up!

Hi Bintie22 & littleangels3, sure you can join in.
Personally I find it so helpful to have a thread where I can vent about tactless people or celebrate my weight loss milestones. I do so much better when I know I have to face the shame of posting a gain or admitting I gave in and had another take away:A:A:A:A:A:A0
