Hi,
I was just looking for a bit of advice.
I successfully defended a case against CEL for 3 PCNs and have now received 3 separate LBC'S for the same PCN'S.
Thankyou in advance.

Send a complaint to CEL (the BPA AOS list should have a link to their Complaints Policy) stating that unless they discontinue all action relating to these three PCNs, you will counterclaim should any case proceed to a court claim. Should cancellation not be confirmed within seven days, you will lodge a report and complaint to the BPA.If the LBCs are signed by Head of Legal, state that you will also be making a formal complaint to the SRA.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Same as this one:

CEL also need to be reported to the ICO as they should not be processing this data again (your data relating to these PCNs should have been deleted).
But to do an ICO complaint or a BPA complaint, you must first exhaust CEL's own complaints procedure. So do that first.
Get angry and tell them you will report their Head of Legal (Scott Wilson) to the SRA, the ICO and the BPA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And report them to the DVLA for breach of their KADOE agreement, using the personal data twice.4

Mr Scott Wilson of Civil Enforcement Limited is a barrister. (i.e. he is a practising barrister with a valid certificate.) He is not a solicitor, therefore no good will come of reporting him to the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority.
You might report him to the Bar Standards Board if you think you have valid grounds to complain. [link removed - you'll have to look it up] You might look through the Bar Standards Board Handbook to see if you think that Mr Wilson’s conduct, for instance, falls short of his obligations to the Court before making a complaint so that you can frame it effectively. Thankyou for all the advice.
Just to keep you all in the loop. Sent a angry email to CEL legal team and had an apology that it was sent by mistake and they were no longer pursuing the PCN's.
But have lodged a complaint to DVLA for them using my personal information twice on 3 separate occasions when the information from the PCN's should have been erased from CEL database.
Will keep you all up to date with DVLA complaint outcome.3 -

Just thought I would let you know the reply I have received from the DVLA
"I am writing to advise that I am currently investigating your complaint and I will respond to you as soon as possible.Thank you for your patience in this matter and I will be in touch when I am able to provide an update."
Let's see how they deal with a breach of there KADOE contract.

Please could you pm this new poster:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80826722/#Comment_80826722
And also the person whose thread I linked on 25th May, above. If you have an ongoing DVLA complaint ref and name of the person investigating, I think you should all share that info and when that new poster complains to the DVLA, BPA and ICO, I think you should all mention each other's cases so CEL can't pretend it's a one-off.
Some victims not on MSE are going to get CCJs as a result of this multi-case data breach. All it will take is if some victims have moved house after winning in court, then CEL will get CCJs for cases they shouldn't even still be holding the data for, let alone processing it.
Please unite all your cases so the DVLA, ICO and BPA all know that this significant keeper data breach affects lots of cases (this forum only sees the tip of the iceberg) and that action is needed to identify all cases and prevent CCJs.
CEL could get a DVLA ban for this.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all, just after a little advice.I'm currently at mediation stage next week. I'm looking to book a holiday in April for a week but have already sent my directions questionnaire, is there any way of asking or resending the N180 form with the new dates that I won't be available before the court date is set?
