Hi, back again,
I need to get the grocery spends under control unfortunately I've let them slip upwards, which has been doable but with every single bill I have going up it's not ok anymore.
So please put me down for £25 weekly. it will start on every Wednesday (as an OAP it's the day of the week I'm always paid to if that's ok)
Thanks

Hi Could you put me down for £450 please
This is for five people - 2 adults all meals, 3 kids all meals except lunches on school days (2 hungry teens and an 8 year old). This includes toiletries & household cleaning items.
I'm currently eating my way through the homemade ready meals (leftovers) in the freezer for work lunches. We use O!io and Too G**d to go where possible and once a half term I try to utilise the school food bank to stock up on cupboard essentials ( pasta, baked beans, tins of soup etc).
I need to try to get hubby on board with doing some baking during the week whilst the kids are in school as they like biscuits/cakes etc but it soon adds up when buying packets in the supermarket. They also eat a lot of fruit tooGrocery Challenge 2024

I missed May as everything was just too busy but I'm back in the groove again for June.
Can you put me down for £250 for the month please?
It's for 2 adults and a bottomless pit of a tween. It doesn't include school dinners which I pay for separately amor the milk delivery we get from the milkman as that goes out by direct debit and we get through the same amount of milk every week so it feels a bit pointless adding that in every week.
I'm hoping I might come in well under this month as we're away on hols for the first week which comes under holiday spends so it'll be a short month for me. Also, I really have a lot of stores to use up so I have no excuses to overspend.
I had a happy family today with hm pizza and salad for lunch with hm flapjacks for pud. I hadn't made pizza for ages so it was a real treat. There was extra pizza dough left over so I knocked up another pizza while the oven was still hot and now there's extra in the fridge for another day. It's so good to get a "free meal" put away for future tired me. I'll be so grateful!5 -

Hi, I think my budget for this month is £104.89. It was meant to be £110 as it’s my birthday at the end of this month, however I think I will take last month's £5.11 overspend off. I might still try to aim for as low as possible but the money is there if I want to have a few birthday treats. I’m not buying anything else in May so really looking forward to buying some sweet potatoes and clementines!
Budget: for ease let’s say £105 one person no toiletries

Hello. I used to do this many years ago but lapsed. Horrified myself by spending a whopping £689 in May and it’s not even over yet.So my target is £500 for June. That’s to feed 2 adults and, one insatiable 11yo ds and one 9 yo. I do have free eggs from work and school dinners are covered by a separate budget. And to be fair they’re amazing school dinners so need to ensure I make the most of those and now the weather is warmer just do sandwich teas for the kids.Strawberries are my downfall in June! I noticed this week one pack used to do the family but they’re not 400g anymore they’re 340g which doesn’t cut the mustard!3

I already made a spend from June’s budget. H&B have 500g organic cocoa powder in their outlet sale for £5.50. I normally buy the same brand 125g for £3 in Sains. I use quite a lot of cocoa powder. 500g should keep me going for a long time!5

Hi, and I hope you don’t mind me rejoining but I need to get handle on the food budget. For food and cleaning products we are allocating £1000 for the month. I know this is a lot but it is a cut for us after we totted up what we have been spending. My aim is to get it down to £800 after a few months6
