Very good. We need HMRC to get it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
I checked the letter box today, and realised that Ive received a "Claim Form" from the claimant "CP PLUS LYD T/A GROUPNEXUS", which the issue date was 22JUL 2024.
So is this the court claim?
There is this part on my claim form
which is very similar with this one here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6447017/dcb-legal-ltd-loc-email-and-next-steps/p2
It says I can respond to this claim online at www.moneyclaim.gov.uk. I tried accessing to the website but the website is not working.
So I just follow the part at the newbie thread that mentions
"Here is a guide to MCOL, how to acknowledge service ('AOS'):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xvqu3bask5m0zir/money-claim-online-How-to-Acknowledge.pdf?dl=0
THEN READ THIS TEMPLATE DEFENCE AND EDIT IT TO SUIT:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/suggested-template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-charge-cases-where-they-add-false-admin-costs/p1
Send your defence to:
ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk"
Correct?
They have a whole form at the back, asking for details of my bank account and stuff, I do not need to fill in that form, correct?

With a Claim Issue Date of 22nd July, you have until Monday 12th August to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 26th August 2024 to file a Defence. That's almost four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.3 -
Im still trying to access the www.moneyclaim.gov.uk website, the website seems to be down...0
-
Try again tomorrow then , meanwhile, start drafting your defence based on the defence template thread2

I can totally ignore the paper form they sent me, correct? (as in, only file an Acknowledgment of Service at the www.moneyclaim.gov.uk website, and then draft my defence and send it to ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk?)0

Correct, no paperwork, all done online , plenty of time to sort both out2

There's a VRM still showing on the POC.2

Thank you very much for your replies KeithP and Gr1pr (and Coupon-mad's support, too!)! I am already drafting my defence.
