    @lorr244 do you have a screenshot of the Palmira that's different to what is showing on their screen at the moment i.e. specifically showing the incorrect reviews against it ?

    Given it's LoveHolidays I don't see you getting much response/joy from them - but good luck

    I do have the screenshots but it is not letting me post them here. I'm so frustrated that I feel misled and they are taking no responsibility.  They are now saying that it is Tripadvisor that I need to speak too!!!  it's on their website.  It's infuriating that I am going to be going to a rubbish, unclean 3/10 hotel and it's not my error.

    This is the hotel and you can see it says 4.5 tripadvisor but when you open it, it is actually fir a different hotel

    I had to use my mobile instead of the pc to upload....strange.  you can see the exact number of reviews.  But if you look directly on TA they do not have any reviews for the Palmira

    Are the three other hotels comparable, in terms of star ratings, features, etc?

    I get that you feel deceived about a link to reviews of a more luxurious 4* hotel from the 3* one you booked, but in itself that doesn't entitle you to an upgrade.  However, if you're seeking another comparable 3* hotel but with better reviews then that's different.

    Although your issue is fundamentally about misleading advertising, it's perhaps worth noting that the Package Travel Regulations effectively allow package providers to substitute hotels as long as "The location, main features and, where applicable, tourist category of the accommodation under the rules of the country of destination" are preserved, i.e. these are the characteristics felt to be important in that legislation, rather than reviews.

    If OP wants to locate CEO email addresses, the intuitively-named site claiming to share these is easily found via all search engines (but is frowned on within the forum), but it's unclear whether this really is a matter warranting CEO attention....

    And this is the fundamental - that 'reviews' are subjective and left for a variety of reasons - one nationalities view of 'clean' will differ from anothers and in many cases will be influenced by price paid.

    From history on here there's been little if any success from people who've asked for changes of accommodation in advance where properties have changed hands/gone downhill quickly etc and things were generally only dealt with when complaints were made in-resort and following the correct complaints procedure. Likewise S75 offers no fallback before the event.

    @lorr244 your challenge is to get them to accept that it's falsely represented (and I suspect they won't) or to seek their goodwill for a change
