Misleading information

Please help me. I am in a battle with loveholidays. I booked a hotel through them in good faith after reading the 4.5 star tripadvisor reviews that were, and still are, attached to the hotel. In short, the link actually takes you to a hotel with a similar name.
I have screenshot the 2 hotels with the same reviews. In reality tripadvisor does not have ANY reviews of the hotel I booked.
I have been arguing this with LH through their chat, through phoning and they are just not prepared to either change the hotel or cancel without further fees from me. This is false advertising.
They said I had to contact the airline if I wanted to cancel the flight, I had to pay the difference for the new hotel and the latest story is that they are not responsible for the tripadvisor reviews!!! But the link is on loveholidays so ofcourse I'm going to assume they have provided the correct details.
I am livid that they still want more money from me. This is absolutely not my fault.
I don't know where to turn. A manager has been asked to call for 3 weeks and still hasn't called me.
I can't get the email of the CEO either. The complaints are for when you come back from your holiday.
Really hoping you'll take this issue up for me and advise what more I can do.

If OP wants to locate CEO email addresses, the intuitively-named site claiming to share these is easily found via all search engines (but is frowned on within the forum), but it's unclear whether this really is a matter warranting CEO attention....0 -

Hi Thanks everyone. Sorry I had assumed that I would get some kind of notification if there was a response. Apologies...I don't know how to respond to the individual commets. Yes there is a huge difference in the reviews. When I say reviews I had to Google the Palmira hotel to find a few tourist reviews (not on TripAdvisor) and it is getting 3/10 incl cleanliness. The Palmin is getting fantastic reviews all round. It is the Palmin reviews that Love holidays takes you to when clicking on the TA link. I shall keep checking on comments now I know I don't get notifications. Many thanks0

for some reason it is not letting me cut and paste the email I sent them. I'll tray and get the link... Below is the body of the email but I can't seem to add the screenshots that I sent them..As per numerous conversations with call handlers and most recently with Mahraj, i have included the screenshots below that include the links to tripadvisor. As you can see both hotels are displaying exactly the same number of tripadvisor reviews. When you open the link to the Palmira reviews they are excellent, hence why i booked it.Subsequently i said to my daughter to have a look on tripadvisor because the reviews are great. She couldn't find it and so i showed her using the loveholidays link.We then both looked again on tripadvisor and they don't have ANY reviews for the Palmira.This is why i have called and left messages so many times because i have booked this hotel in good faith, trusting loveholidays to provide the correct information.You have failed to do this. I have given 3 hotel options in Kusadasi that i don't mind changing to but i will not pay more money so please do not inform me of a price increase. As i said. I booked this holiday in good faith so it is only right that you honour a hotel change at no cost to me.I am not interested in the fact that you work on a live system or that the flights have been booked. I would like you out of courtesy to change our hotel at no expense to us and not expect me to do anything. This is not my fault. This is not my error. It's false advertising.Please give this your urgent attention as this holiday has now been booked for several weeks and i called you the very next day to point out the error on your website. You removed the Palmira from your site, so someone took my complaint on board and removed it from your system.Oh my word. I thought I'd quickly check your website before I send this email and you have put back up the Palmira with the tripadvisor reviews for the Palmin. I have just screenshot it right now. This is an absolute disgrace.I look forward to hearing from you.(Removed by Forum Team)0
