Best Move - volunteer work, it's opened up doors I never would have thought of.
Worst Move - choosing one bank over another when given the choice, staying at the same place for three years and working a higher level position than I'm paid for for about 15 months, getting taken for a ride by the LA.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Best move- Current job - Working for a charity running charity shops for them in a local area.
Worst move: Leaving school and working for a major retailer as every one was trying to out do each other.
Although it was a bad move it gave me the experience to get my current job.

Best move - leaving management consulting.
Worst move - being responsible for a chain of events that led to the son of a friend of the owners spending a night in a third world gaol and being deported... Still paying for that one!0 -
Only have regrets if you are comletely unhappy where you are, because every decision you've ever made (good or bad) has contributed to your current situation
That is ABSOLUTELY my philosophy to the letter. You only regret the things you don't do.
My best move was allowing myself to be forced by Mr Phirefly to attend a job trial as a fashion graphic designer even though I was convinced I wasn't up to it. 6 years on and I'm top of my game in the field and see people walking down the street wearing my designs every day0 -
I had some good advice the other day that you just have enjoy what you do now and not miss out on now by thinking about the next target.:beer:0

I half agree with this. Yes, definitely focus on enjoying what you are doing now. But unless you want to be in the same job in twenty years time, you do need to keep an eye on future opportunities ...Gone ... or have I?0
