I had approx £100 stolen. The bank are refunding but is there any way of claiming compensation from Lyca for losing my details?2

Lyca aren't even admitting the data loss so your chances of persuading them to compensate you for [insert thing you want compensation for here] are not good.2 -

He will be asking for compensation for losing something they have a responsibility to keep secure. Massive case going on just now with easyJet for losing data and Arnold Clark have similar - https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/arnold-clark-data-breach/0 -
I received a letter today from Barclaycard saying they had detected potentially fraudulent use of my credit card.
A payment was attempted by "Pontoon Specialists", who I’ve never heard of.
I was a customer of Lyca Mobile last year. The only other place I've used my card is Argos and Amazon. After reading this thread, clearly there's been a huge leak of credit card information from Lyca Mobile, despite them saying payment details were not stored or compromised.
Anyone who is/was a customer of Lyca should ask their bank to cancel and reissue their payment card. Then choose another network.

Just to confirm me and my father also had fraud on our cards that were used for Lyca. I personally haven't been a Lyca customer since 2022.Both banks, Chase and Metro, flagged it and replaced the cards. Chase only replaced my "online" details (those in the app) as the card number on the physical card is separate.2

Not sure what the latest is on this?
I have had a Lyca Mobile account since March. All was going well until Monday. My bank alerted me to fraudulent Meta/Facebook advertising transactions at 8.30pm (starting off very small - one actually made it through to my card then the bigger amounts were stopped by the bank). Cancelled card. New card arrived yesterday (Wednesday). Updated my Lyca Mobile account and my Apple Wallet. Activated new card at around 3 or 4pm.
7.15pm in the middle of my yoga class... bank is ringing again. Apparently Facebook advertising being charged to my new card!
New card cancelled after only being active for c.3 hours. This reeks of a problem with Lyca to me - I hadn't used my Apple Pay at all (not since Sunday).1 -
