Plan A is for the keeper to complain to the landowner and the keeper's MP. Do not blab about the driver's identity.

Plan B is to appeal to the PPC using the template in blue text you will find in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.

Which PPC issued the NTK? Was it PoFA compliant? If you are unsure, please post both sides here. Redact all personal data but leave the dates showing.

Where did the alleged event event occur? It may have cropped up here before.

    Thanks for the response.

The PPC is BREWERYGATE LIMITED 71-75 Shelton Street

It was in the Cains brewery village in Liverpool 8 Baltic Quarter.

I'm trying to work out how to get the pics on here of the PPC to see if it's PoFA compliant. I'll hopefully do that when my teenager gets home!

Do not try to guess the location. Do not do the PPC's job for them. The location on the NTK is what you go on; nothing else.

The location given on the NTK is Brewerygate Liverpool L85XJ. That is too vague to identify the relevant land where the alleged event occurred. It does not therefore comply with the strict requirements of the PoFA 2012, and therefore incapable of holding the keeper liable.
Thank you so much for looking at this for me. Do I still appeal on the grounds that the driver did pay at the site? I have looked through lots of success threads but haven't found anything on this company being mentioned before. Sorry if I sound a bit thick but I do appreciate the help you're giving.
I repeat, do not do the PPC's job for them. The NTK does not define the relevant land. The keeper cannot be held liable, but the driver can.

As far as the law is concerned, the driver and keeper are two different people.

Why not just search the forum for BREWERYGATE which would have found another recent thread just like yours.

By reading that and the NEWBIES thread, you'd already know not to say who was driving in the appeal.

Thank you for your reply. I have read all the Parking Charge company threads I could find and non of them where for BREWERYGATE. I will search further. I put the name BREWERYGATE in the search bar for the threads and main forum and nothing came up. I know it must be frustrating when members are coming on and asking questions without doing even the most basic search but I spent a couple of hours reading the forum for parking charges before asking for advice and I don't want anyone thinking I'm not trying to help myself.  I am not the most tech savvy person as probably shows in my comments but I'm graceful for any help kindly offered. I will go on a hunt for the thread you have mentioned, thanks again.

You have to click on THREADS and then change Best Match to Newest, change the category to Parking tickets, fines and parking, untick Ideas and Polls and then click Filter, I found at least three.

Hi do you think I'm better off appealing on the grounds that the address is insufficient for me to identify the driver at the time of alleged contravention or should I appeal that a payment was taken? either way as registered keeper not driver

Please do the search as suggested.  Something does come up.  If no threads come up you are not searching correctly.

Thank you, yes I have found the threads as Le_Kirk explained what I needed to do. I have read them all and I'm thinking of appealing as the registered keeper on the grounds of a payment being made and proof available. I then just wait to hear back and take it from there. My husband is determined it should go to court if necessary on point of principle.

As long as you don't write anything implying who was driving.

Sent appeal in on grounds of evidence of payment via bank. I didn’t say who the driver was.  Received this response! They don’t mention receiving a payment.  What is the best next step? Do I just wait for court action? I presume I don’t appeal to IAS as explained in other threads.
    thanks in advance.

Totally ignore them (unless a court claim arrives). Tell them if you move house. That's all
