Drains now unblocked, it seems the builder when he showed me where the handles on the man hole lid were, forgot to tell me the 4 screws needed to be taken out first, no wonder why OH and I couldn't get it to budge!Mud hoovered off carpet in hallway, something to do with testing the drains out, ment walking on my carpets with muddy boots on!.It is chucking it down here, and looks in for the day.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Oh my golly gosh. Are you sitting down? I've been out in the garden again. 😊
My border spade, border fork, and garden rake were delivered. I wasn't expecting them till Monday. So I unwrapped them .... sounds easy when you say that. It wasn't. I wrestled with the shrink wrapping. I won. Plastic has been binned. Cardboard has been put out for recycling. And said tools are now safely locked in the shed which I can now get into thanks to its new lock 😊
I was going to make a start digging the front garden borders but I'd noticed earlier that my cotoneaster had started to grow across the pavement outside my fence. So I've pruned that back. And pruned back the buddleia that was growing across the front of the wooden shed. And chopped up all the pruned branches and slotted then in the garden waste bin. I expect it's totally the wrong time of year for pruning but heyho. It's done.
I'm now very hot. 🥵

Thanks Ionafan. My gum is feeling much better with all the attention I'm giving it. I now have a headache though.
Hope you are feeling better now. A is very pleased with his new feet and is currently celebrating by having a nap.
This morning I went out and did a bit of shopping and when I got back made lunch and WUPA the lunch and breakfast things. An Ocado order arrived and I put that away and then put some towels on to wash, which is ongoing.8 -
piggers - everything is a work in progress with a long way to go. But I've started. Lots of things started: basic flying; decluttering; losing chubbage; knitting; tidying the garden. I'll get there eventually. Not sure where 'there' is but the fact that I now aim for progress and not for perfection means I keep at it.....and I'm enjoying what I'm doing.
Bleach has been sploshed down the loo, the recycling has been put out, and the birds fed. Knitting is growing steadily.

Any progress is better than none I totally agree.

I have taken Dot to opticians and had her lenses put in different frames because she broke her frames at school.. I have booked her an eye test for the 1st.. She will only allow 1 optician to do her tests and that is the soonest we can get in with her.I have 2 parcels being collected tomorrow.I have received 2 boxes of cat food.. might last Thomas 2 minutes!
I need to run through the front room.. DD1 is leaving boys here in the morning and Beanie is walking now so I need to make it safer for him.
I need to find a pair of shoes and measure a pinafore if I can be bovved. I need to do dinner, pack ups and the DW. Pixie needs to ut her swimming stuff from yesterday in the washer.. I am NOT happy! .. and I might need a nap!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
