  • Eurgh in the office today.

Hate it! Wish I could just WFH forever and stay home with my dogs.

Still not had the card through to sort the balance transfers but I'm just about to make a payment to Very so that I don't get charged a fortune on interest!

So payment of £324 made to Very and that avoids any interest on that order.

Got a balance of £765.10 which has to be paid between October and March 2025 so I'll sort that when I get all the balance transfers sorted.

    Update
So today I've sorted out balance transfers, created a new spreadsheet with all bills updated for the rest of the tax year and worked out how much I need to pay off all CC's while they are on 0%.

I would LOVE to be able to pay it all off by March 2025  but honestly I don't think it's going to be possible.

    Debt total is £11,095.36.

This doesn't include the money I owe to my Mum who bought my car for me but I'll pay her in dribs and drabs when I can.

Diet starts Monday so we'll get a start on the weight loss - 6st to lose in total.

  • Checked the bank account this morning, only 3 more bills to come out.

Today I also declined the renewal for Baileys insurance and renewed with the same company through a new policy for 1/2 the price.

Bit cheeky because I have claimed twice on it with a claim pending at the moment but that should be all complete before this policy ends on the 19th July.

So determined to do better for myself because I'm sick of feeling like I'm just treading water constantly just because I'm irresponsible with money and impulse buy stuff I really don't need.

    Minimum payments made to;
    • Tesco
    • Virgin
I'll top these up later on in the month. I've calculated all my monthly payment amounts so that I can get these cleared ASAP. If I can pay more I will but doubt it tbh.

    Monthly Payments
    £85.00 - Very
    £397.00 - Tesco
    £182.94 - Virgin (£246.00 from November 2024)
    £260.00 - Lloyds
    £924.94 - Total
