No, unfortunately I didn't.  I mention in my first post that I ignored in the hope it may go away as a couple of Parking Eye / Aldi ones I'd had in the past did, I appealed the first PE one with Aldi receipts in hand ...no joy. Just forgot to log my details in on the way out, as you do.  Eventually they ceased in sending me letters. It was during Covid and they eventually suspended the instore screens for a while as a lot of folk were complaining they didn't want to touch them.  Plus it was quite a new system at the time and the word on local FB pages were just to ignore them...so I did.

If someone reads this - can you explain briefly what to do in a situation where I change addresses as I am going to be moving sometime in the near future, probably before this is all done and dusted - don't know when and where as of yet. 

Will it always be Civil Enforcement that I have to tell of a change of address or does the contact depend on which stage my case is currently at?

Does my registered keeper address matter or not (ie giving a friend's address for some permanency)

You can give a friend's address as long as they are reliable to check post and tell you every week if anything arrives.

Yes it is CEL you need to contact, unless they suddenly start using a solicitor firm like DCB Legal.

Letter of Claim arrived this morning (dcb legal) at least it came to my new address.  Someone's trying to spoil my weekend methinks.

Been a while since I've been on here so a tad rusty on the tekkers, but knew this day would be coming.  So am I right in thinking I can again reply to dcb legal with the -

"I am sourcing and seeking independent debt advice and as such, I formally request that this matter be put on hold for an additional 30 days, in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Debt Claims 2017 ('the PAP').

If you really want to delay the inevitable discontinuation, why would you want to put it all on hold for 30 days? The additional 30 days is from when you send the request. So, if you send that request 2 days after receiving the LoC, you are only delaying the inevitable by 2 days.

So, do you really want to delay getting this over and done with? If so, wait until day 29 after the LoC and then send the hold request.
