Well done on your savings pots ☀️

You are brave going on holiday on your own. Did you have to pay a hefty single supplement?

Fingers crossed for a good payrise 🤞

This will be my fourth holiday alone abroad, I paid about £100 extra but I had an amount in mind when booking and this came in budget.

Hope the sun is shining wherever you are .

Good to read you enjoyed your solo trip. I have friends and family members, all women in their 30s' 40's, 50s and 60s who have all done the same recently. It definitely feels like 'a thing' at the moment.

I stopped my credit union account, but your pots have encouraged me to start it again. I originally used it for a Christmas fund and will start doing that again  :)

I like that you always have holidays to look forward to  :)

Thanks DIA I like to have a trip to look forward to.

A few wins this week , £10 Barclaycard rewards hit my account .
Got the £5 Asda reward .
Had a free Costa yesterday .
Made £75 on eBay over the weekend , moved to savings .
Had to go to the dentist with toothache £26.80 all sorted will claim back .
Booked train tickets to London for myself and DGD got my 10% off through train provider club so £70 return with railcard discount .
A good week finance wise .

I banged my head on my car door yesterday and have neck ache this morning .
I am on childminding duty today for 2 DGC and three tomorrow. I have an outing fund thank goodness .

    That’s it for now .

Hope you are not too injured.
It's good your tooth was sorted for a relatively small amount of money.
I've not heard of a train provider club but 10% plus railcard is good

Had two busy days with the DGC , slept well last night . My neck is slightly better this morning, not woken up with a headache either.
Todays plans are walk round local RHS with friend , taking our own coffee . Need to sort washing out , went swimming yesterday so have extra towels.
CC bill needs paying , but need to transfer money from various pots .
Also looking for discounts for days out in the 6 week holidays .

Taking your own coffee is such a good idea.
I took a little one out during half term and found it all so expensive. Next time I will think it through and plan better.
Glad your neck is a little better
