Thank you Milann, Baron Dale and SSG.The school holidays are done and dusted for another year. Spending wise I had saved enough for the grandchildren's outings and we made lots of memories. My youngest DGS starts nursery class at the same school as his siblings in 2 weeks and then my childminding days will be finished I think apart from school hols.I have been asked to go into school to listen to reading which I will hopefully be starting in a few weeks on a Friday morning.I have also made enquiries about joining U3A from October and had a very friendly email back from them so will probably be joining in there which I hope will be enjoyable. The new manager at work has announced they are retiring in the Spring as the job is stressful, I don't think they will be missed.I have an ongoing dispute now with Octopus as my gas smart meter which doesn't send readings to Octopus has said I have used 185 m3 in a month . Luckily I take photos of my meter readings occasionally and have some evidence . Just compiling my information to send to them.Money wise everything is ticking along , have started on Christmas already . Paid my breakdown cover this week out of the car pot.I got free travel ins from my union which saved a few pounds .That's enough for today .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Making memories with the grandchildren are what it is all about. Lovely. Great idea about listening to reading. I used to go in and do that with the young one in my life every Friday and it was so nice. Let us know how you get on with U3A

Enjoy U3A. I’ve been to some good events and there are many more I fancy but haven’t got around to it yet. Bet you’ll feel strange not childminding.January spends - £587.580

I have looked at U3A in my area. The offering appears to be quite limited and their are waiting lists for nearly every group. Some of them also sound a little clique, but that could be just my area lol with certain 'requirements'!0

The week has passed in a blur again, yesterday was my last childcare day. Today I am taking my dad shopping , he and my mum have just returned from yet another coach holiday . Tonight I am off out to a 50th birthday party with a holiday fancy dress theme. My Octopus complaint is now in, will be interesting to see how long it is before they reply initially.Money wise I am floating in to payday , one is the 18th and the other 20th. My personal spends have been a bit depleted this month, too many coffee meet ups with friends and family .Nothing much has happened this week really. Enjoy the weekend.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2
