    Hi all,

I finally got through to Stafford Soccer Centre and they have said they will cancel the PCN!!  :D

As I submitted to POPLA in the meantime, ParkingEye have since commented on my appeal.
Oh dear. You have very probably prevented the landowner cancellation.

It is PLAN A for good reason.

POPLA should not have been tried.  It usually makes ParkingEye refuse cancellation requests.  Hope I am wrong but POPLA was a hard 'no' as I said in my earlier reply.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi all, very frustrating update- last week an email from Popla asking for verification to continue the case went to my junk and then today I received a further email saying they had withdrawn my appeal as I hadn’t responded- I think it’s crazy that after waiting 2 months they have withdrawn my appeal just like that!

My only hope now seems to lie with the business who have still not received a response to their request for PE to cancel the charge.

    I’ll keep you posted.

    Thanks

A complaint to the BPA AOS compliance team might not go amiss, or an email to the lady that took over from Steve Clarke. ?  I would also email a procedural complaint to the lead adjudicator at Popla too

It seems that Popla think that they can take forever but impose arbitrary unfair terms on appellants. ?

That's a good thing if it was pulled before ParkingEye spent a POPLA fee!

As I said, landowner cancellation was Plan A anyway and POPLA threatened that.

  • Thanks for the suggestions.

Would you suggest that I contact ParkingEye and ask them to respond to the land owner cancellation request or am I best to just wait it out?

    Thanks

    ‘ Hi…,

We can submit the detail’s to Parking Eye to cancel your fine but after that we don’t get any updates,

You should receive confirmation in the post that your fine has been cancelled but can take a good few months even 6.

We don’t own the carpark I’m afraid,

and all we can do is submit fines to be cancelled but that is all we can do,

we don’t get any updates from them I’m afraid.

Is there a way to check if the fine has been cancelled? Other than asking PE directly?

I would suggest that PE are unlikely to cancel as it is already gone through the PoPLA appeal process.

You could log into the PE site as though you are going to appeal and see if the charge is still there.
