A lot about this industry is well dodgy.  The Government is trying to sort it but they threw money at Judicial Reviews and blocked it.

I'm hoping that if it comes to it, the Judge will see there was no serious appeal process and the whole enterprise is predatory.

    UPDATE

everything went quite and now ive received 2 letters from  TRACE DEBT RECOVERY  , each asking for £170.
They present themselves as the good cop and on my side. I have 14 days .
It gives the option to pay or else it goes to teh clients solicitors who will add more money. They also say the client could interrupt any time frame and initiate legal proceedings if they want. It all sound like scare tactics.

Debt collectors are powerless and can safely be ignored. The fourth post of the NEWBIES explains all this.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

Thanks. When i saw the letter, i remembered your words " mugs discount" and i started to see the sort of game that it is. They need us to play along for them to succeed

    UPDATE

Trace seems to have given way to Moorside Legal. I don't  know if its a good thing or not. Trust Pilot gives Moorside Legal 4/5 and they give TRACE 1.5 /5.

They do however provide some interesting information that everyone here needs to know.

    Current Balance         :  £340
    Estimated interest      :  £6.19
    Estimated Court Fees: £50.00
    Est. Lawyer Fees       : £50.00
    Est Judgement Cost  : £22.00

    ESTIMATED TOTAL : £468.19
    ( 2 tickets)

This is for 2 stupid undeserved tickets. I either have to pay £340 now or maybe pay £128.19 more.

I'm still thinking its best to wait. Meanwhile I have contacted Rip Off Britain (who haven't replied).
I am encouraged by the fact my MP is taking it seriously and she has agreed to a meeting with me. I want her to realise how these bloodsuckers drain 1 Billion from the working class every year. By controlling the Parking Industry, the chancellor could save about a Billion without raiing taxes.
