    Morning all :)

I have bought a Too Good To Go bag for tonight, it will come from my grocery budget, so if it doesn't count it's a NSD.
@laurenh1 what @KajiKita said, if it comes out of your grocery budget, it can still count as an NSD so I've added it to your total xx :) hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend too! nice to see some sun. :)

    May NSD #3

Hi, A new starter on here and I'm trying to only shop one day a week and then for essential perishables only. I have enough food stocked in to last until the end of the month because I have always convinced myself that I must never pass up a bargain and buy loads more than I need,  especially when I'm hungry.  In theory,  all but 4 or 5 days should be NSDs this month.

@cathybird is the guru of NSDs but I reckon that TGTG does NOT lose you an NSD as it has legitimately come from a planned spend category (groceries).
Well done on all the other ££ shufflings, savings and plannings too 😊

    Thank you!!

    NSD #4 today.

Beautifully sunny day, so packed a picnic and dragged my partner out for a walk around the local woodland to see all the bluebells.

The picnic was a combination of:
    Reduced to clear 29p houmous
Free bread rolls, salad and falafels from Waste Warrior (a local anti-food waste project)
Reduced to clear apples, 19p for 4 (we had 2)
Homemade banana bread (bag of 25p M&S "past their best" bananas, cheap chapati flour from the Asian supermarket, store cupboard ingredients. Works out at about 9p for a huge slice)
    Flask of tea

A lovely day out together- a woodland walk and "luxury" picnic lunch for less than a £1 😊
That's 1/40 or 2.5% of the cost of going out for lunch at a chain restaurant!
Even better, we caught a glimpse of some baby owls 🦉❤️
