@Ichewgumfirst you need to start your own dedicated thread to receive advice on your situation (red circle with the plus sign). Have a read of the NEWBIE FAQ Announcement thread first.
Parking companies don't want £100 payments their goal is to obtain payments of £170 or more.3 -
I'm sorry but I think you are on the wrong track with this that will get you no where. As much as Euro are in amongst the worst of them for their relentless PCN scamming tactics to extract money, I don't believe for one moment they are anything to do with this redirection scam you have paid in to, I just don't see it.Euro "manage" car parks and use what ever payments the landowner has set up or agrees with them, it might be Pay By Phone app or website for example.Euro also have their own app and website called ECPparkbuddy which isn't that well known as others.I believe what you did was search for the website to pay, landed on a scam site or the wrong site and got sucked in, why would you subscribe to a VPN, what website address did you actually land on?If you go down the route of blaming ECP you will be off on a tangent to nowhere.Scammers (in addition to PPC's) have moved in to car parking scams with fake QR codes now.3

So after ignoring Euro Car parks initial people they changed to DCB legal that have indeed taken me to small claims court. I got the letter yesterday. I notice that the court is Northampton. Im from Liverpool. That seems unreasonable to me to travel. Seems unreasonably far. I thought it would be a Liverpool court where im from.

It will be Liverpool, eventually, assuming that you nominate Liverpool when you complete the N180 DQ document in a couple of months time
Northampton isnt a court, its the government centre for MCOL, a business centre, they had to have it somewhere, just like the DVLA is in Swansea ! You definitely wont be travelling to Northampton
Post the issue date from the claim form below, plus post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding the VRM details first
Study the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements, plus the 1st and 2nd posts in the defence template thread too
Please edit your thread title to something more suitable like
ECP , DCB Legal court claim 2025
Delete the rest of the title now, so everything after 20251 -

Im not saying that ring go deliberately scammed me. But what i find very very dodgy is that i couldn't just ring Euro car parts and tell them what happened in good faith and sort it. What kind of company takes this as non intent to pay? Also in the POPLA case they sent POLPLA a photo of a DIFFERENT sign. Not the sign that was at the site. I have photo evidence of this. The one they sent POPLA has a phone number and a clear website address to pay. I find that actually fraudulent. I will post photos of the sign they sent POPLA and the Actual sign.0
-
The actual Sign photo and the Photo they sent to POPLA which is demonstrably
false.
