Out of curiosity, I tried logging in earlier for myself and was in straight away with no issue - wasn't even noticeably slower.  So there's maybe something more device specific at work - I was using a desktop PC.

I had no issues towards the end of last week, but absolutely could not log in across multiple devices last Monday and Tuesday.

I always use the same device to log in - a chromebook.

The problem I've had definitely isn't device specific. On some days the site has worked perfectly; on other days it has worked extremely slowly and then logged me out altogether repeatedly without me being able to complete what I was trying to do; and on other days it has repeatedly not allowed me to log on - all with the same device.

It's easier for NS&I to push the blame onto customers, than to admit the site is not very well written, or stable.

For a start, how often do you need to be warned "Do Not Press Refresh!" and "Do Not Use The Back Button!" ... ? It's NS&I's online slogan! :)

Well designed websites are robust enough to deal with that stuff.
