yet again national savings website down

Cannot log in on national savings today.
This seems to happen very often. I wonder if this organisation will ever address its customer service...

    NS&I?
I haven’t been able to log in for at least 2 weeks. The code doesn’t arrive, arrives too late, or even if it does arrive, session has expired before it can be entered. Or after jumping those hurdles, it simply reverts to strange log in screen😡.
    Perhaps they’re finally fixing that🤔

Never had an issue. Must be your misfortune. Unsure why technology failure has been related to customer service. Not a lot can be done until the issue is fixed.

I logged on this morning and it was fine other than being a little slow.

    THIS ^^^^
There was actually an apology on website sometime last week, saying they were working on this known issue experienced by some users.
    The apology is still there:

I've just checked, there is a banner in place warning of intermittent problems.

The first time I tried logging in I got this sexy piece of 90s web nostalgia

I then went back to the NS&I homepage and tried to log in again - that time it worked.

In the past, I've noticed NS&I is VERY sensitive to browser changes. If someone clears cookies regularly, or uses Incognito/Private mode it definitely encourages login problems (from my experience).

They should upgrade to the 90s nostalgia system. It would probably be more reliable than the bizarre "securing your browser" policy enforcer monstrosity they have built.
Wasn't it the CEO of General Motors in US in the 90's that said if they sold cars as badly made as Microsoft did their software. They be out of business in a matter of weeks.

Pretty much sums up most things that are run by the State.
