Even last year with all the bank holidays it’s dated the 18th. This year the 6th was a Saturday though so the earliest you could request the repayment was Tuesday 9th. I’m surprised it didn’t update this morning too but surely it can’t be any later than tomorrow.

I reckon it wont be tomorrow either.. its never took this long! Something not right.. Maybe there is some truth in that statement someone wrote a couple pages back.. ? 🤔
  • These are the last few years that it was submitted on the 6th and requested at the earliest possible time. I don’t think we are too far behind target yet.

    Almost identical to mine.
if it doesn't change tomorrow i really won't be happy. All these sleepless nights 😂 i mean i have been sleeping but i keep waking up in the middle of the night and the first thing i think of is 'has it cleared' 😂

Hey another year guys, I can't remember exactly but if It goes to bank repayment pending does that mean it's not been put for security and just awaiting payment?
And if it goes security checks it stays as repayment pending?

Na im pretty sure it always goes to 'bank repayment pending' just before it goes to 'bank repayment' in all cases...

im pretty sure most people's here now says bank repayment pending and not just repayment pending..

Im not confident in it changing any time soon
  • HMRC are so difficult to understand

My payment says repayment pending, when I click on that it says bank repayment pending...

I call up this morning to find out if there's been any movement, the lady on the phone says it's going through security checks and not to call back for 6 weeks as this is standard for everyone and that's what there telling everyone, I then call again as I was confused and the second person said the first person I spoke.to doesn't know if yours will be going for additional security checks and the 6 weeks wait is what there telling everybody... Confusing to say the least!!

Anybody fancy elaborating on this? Have I been selected for additional security checks or not? My rebate is only 826 pounds and I have filled out my return correctly just like the previous 6 years.

    Thanks

I guess if you file it on the 6th then it’s better to wait for at least 10 working days.
