Claim Form Parking Eye/DCBL

Hi,
I've received a Claim Form from the Civil National Business Centre. It says the claimant is Parking Eye, and the address to for sending documents is DCBL Legal. I think these parking tickets are a scam, they are asking me to pay £288.08 for a ticket from almost 3 years ago in a retail park. Please guide me further as I am lost at what to do.
I have attached the claim form.
Thank you.

Plan A is always a complaint to the landowner and your MP, and it is never too late to do so.
Read the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the second post of the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES. You need to complete the AoS by day 19 from the issue date, but there is no advantage in waiting. Do not fail to do this acknowledgment.
Then read the template defence sticky Announcement and modify the parts of the template relevant to your case, then post only the parts you have changed before you submit it.
Include the CEL v Chan case plus the screenshots of the judgment. The particulars of claim are woefully inadequate because they do not specify a cause of action. Is the claim for failing to pay, failing to display a ticket, failing to park between lines, parking a red car in a bay reserved for blue cars only, or failing to stand on one leg and sing the national anthem?
The costs claimed don't add up either. They've added a fake £70 for damages, then another unspecified £33.08. Since they don't know when the hearing (judgment) will take place, they cannot possibly have calculated how much the interest will be over an unspecified period.
Interest at 3p/day would take over 1100 days to reach £33. That's 3 years of interest they are claiming. Even with the current state of the county courts, it's unlikely it would take that long to get a hearing date.I married my cousin. Very easy to see off.
Obviously you'll be using the hharry100 defence version that you saw linked in the Template Defence thread, when you read the top sticky threads before posting.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've read that I need to do the acknowledgement to gain the full 30 days to make a defence. How do I make a Acknowledgement of service, online or by replying to the letter?0 -
Another classic boilerplate Particulars of Claim from the kids at DCB Legal that any judge will throw out. You're going to follow the Newbies thread, get up to speed with how to beat the scammers and you'll be not be paying anything.
DCB Legal will discontinue long before any courtroom comes into view.1 -

Newbies/FAQ thread, second post explains in detail the questions you are asking. Template defence thread then has the template defence and a 12 point checklist of what to expect and do once you've filed the defence.
You have until 4pm on Monday 8th April to submit your AoS as advised in the thread indicated above. That will then give you until 4pm on Monday 22nd April to file the defence.1 -
Thanks, I have done the AoS and I am starting to read on compiling up a defence.

@Coupon-mad , for the template defence, which paragraphs from hharry100's defence do I add into the section 3. ?
