MCOL is saying the AoS is the latest document still.

I used dq.cnbc@justice.gov.uk to send the forms

Seems rather strange that MCOL Claim History makes no mention of a Defence having been filed either.

I think you'll have to phone the CNBC. Best result for a quick pick up of the phone at their end is a 9am call. Later can involve a long wait on hold.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hmm...I was worried that might be the case. I'm profoundly deaf and can't make calls myself, so it's not ideal that I'll have to do that.

Will see what I can do though...

Are you sure the Claim History lists your AOS as the last thing you did?

AOS is the last thing they have from me on record.

    This is the current status:

A claim was issued against you on 22/03/2024

Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 02/04/2024 at 09:37:18

Your acknowledgment of service was received on 02/04/2024 at 12:05:31

Your defence was received on 16/04/2024

DQ sent to you on 06/05/2024

DQ filed by claimant on 06/05/2024

General sanctions order was made on 11/06/2024

I don't have anyone to phone on my behalf at the moment. Is there a general email address that would get a human response instead of an auto response?

Have a look down the list of CNBC emails.

I've forward the initial emails with an explanation to some of the other CNBC email addresses but they all have an auto response with a wait of 10/12 days for a real reply.

Very concerned that this has put a spanner in the works now after I've followed the advice given here carefully.

Not really sure what to do now as I can't call them, so I'm at the mercy of whether my emails get a reply.

Does the "general sanctions order" mean it's game over now? What happens next?

If I can't get any help to make a phonecall to the CNBC tomorrow then I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just pay them.

The constant letters, threats and now court orders just aren't worth it and in my case I'm at a road block as I can't make a phonecall to dispute my missing DQ.

    Nononononono!

Your DQ is not missing now, because you've addressed the mistake by them.

    DO NOT PAY.

You have done what was needed and the case will now be allocated to your local court.
