hi Katejo new electronic scales may be more unkind than previous ones! with mine i have to lift one front corner of the scales slightly usually with my toe and put it down again and then it shows 88.88 for a couple of seconds before going to 00.00 which is when i step on. Mine are only cheap Salter scales as I didn't needs more complicated ones to tell me how much fat i was carryingLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2

I know I have lost a little because the trousers which I wore yesterday fitted me better. A month ago they were too tight.
One consolation is that a friend who unexpectedly invited me for a meal this evening has cancelled at the last moment!2 -
First progress weigh-in of the Quarter and will report a slow start - just a half-pound lost (
).
Looking forward to a restaurant birthday lunch on Friday which may well be just a main course.
As the venue is in a chain, calories are shown on the menus so that will help keep me in check.

Since my new scales agree with each other but not with the old ones, my new starting weight is 12 st 4lb. The old scales must have been way out. I definitely have lost about 1 lb since last week though. Hopefully a more accurate weigh in next time. I will be away on holiday in Madeira for just over a week from Saturday so won't be able to weigh myself during that time. Expecting that I will do lots of walking/exercise during the break. Just have to be a bit careful about what I eat.5
