Good morning. I'd got all excited Friday as had lost a but but the big dinner yesterday must have scuppered the numbers as just 1lb down this morning (was 1.5 Friday so had been hoping for 2). Need to up the exercise this week now. Theme park with the kids today so not sure how much walking we'll get in.

    Morning all xx

Monday weigh in and I STS

Phew! I was expecting a gain. Things went a bit haywire this week - in many different ways. I need to find a way to comfort / reward myself that doesn't involve inhaling calories.

It's been inspiring reading all your posts. Thank you. I needed that boost.

Hi can I please join. My aim is to lose 2 stone, but one stone will do for this quarter. I feel impatient about it as it is weight I lost in 2020 and then put back on over time.
    But enough is enough.
I weighed myself this morning and it was as 'bad' as expected. So I'm in please.
Main tools wil be 8/16 and very little sugar, fat, white carbs or alcohol. Boom

I weighed in this morning and was disappointed because it showed 1.5-2lb more than yesterday. I really thought I had made progress. It gave me 12 2lb.
I then had a freak and unfortunate accident with my scales. I tripped on them slightly. I wasn't hurt but they flew across the room, hit  a cupboard and completely fell apart (shattered into bits). I was so surprised!

I went out today and bought a new set of scales but I am not convinced at all that they are working correctly. Instructions say to touch the electronic display to set it to zero  but nothing appears on the display at all. I can only get it to display zero by switching from imperial to metric. If I stand on them, They give a far too high reading (6lbs more than this morning!). Has anyone else had this with new scales. Just thought I'd ask before taking them back.

No, my 'old' scales were becoming harder and harder to either read or get to work in the first place (even with new batteries) so I have a new set too.

These read an average of 1.5lbs lower than the old set though, that was quite a big difference to me but 6lbs is definitely too big.
