I've pegged out the washing. Debated with myself whether to walk to Mr C00p to buy wash pods or wait until Monday and buy some at Mr Al's. No way I'm going to Mr Al's on a Saturday even if I did have the energy.
Oo but must tell you. I called at Mr M on my way home from work on Tuesday to buy L's leaving presents. Get me being brave. It's years since I went to Mr M's. I was going to go to my nearest (familiar) Mr T but as I drive past Mr M's on my way home I decided it was mse to call in there instead. So I did. My heart was in my mouth. And I have a sneaking suspicion that I drove against the arrows in the car park. But 🙆♀️ I did it!
I'm going to knit now. I'm on the second sleeve. Then it will all need bringing together to knit the yoke. I'm already planning on buying in a stash of wool for more knits. It's the only thing that's kept me sane (OK saneish) this week.

Round hugs and thinking of you,.Guttering is power washed, all moss and other debris cleaned out yuk, there is a bit about 4 foot long that I just cannot reach , it is the middle bit guttering at the back of the conservatory, I tried the hoe that got some out, OH and I just cannot think of anything that will fit in a guttering, and be able to pull the debris towards us, to then get out, any one any ideas? ( I could pay for a local bod that does guttering cleaning, but he charges £xxx not matter how big or small, no budget for that sort of work at the moment.) in the meanwhile the guttering will work, just not drain fully or very fast if at all.OH is now going to clay his car, I'm keeping out of the way, and may go for a walk to air my legs as I'm wearing shorts for the 1st time this year, it is hot here, but the wind is getting up.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

The trembling might be the journey on my own more than anything tbh. Having been somewhat 'cocooned' and 'supported' over the past couple of years doing things on my own seems odd.
Washing on the line (I hope it still is, anyway). Loads of jars soaked to remove labels, jumper handwashed, rabbit hutch emptied and drying off.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi ladies
So lovely to have you back Round, I am sending you all the love xx
Really wish I was coming tomorrow, I hope you all have a wonderful time. I haven't stopped since I got up this morning. I have had a renewed surge to get rid of "stuff", which is great but tiring. I've filled and sanded all of the holes in the walls that haven't had any attention since I moved here....
Spent a small fortune online - council tax for the month, car insurance for the year, new hoover - all budgeted for, but nontheless it feels like it costs a tenner just to get out of bed nowadays!
Have fab afternoons all xx7 -
Rounddddddd - you're back!!!. We were getting really worried about you. Sorry you have such a toxic workplace. Why can't people just get on?Anyway, try and have a relaxing afternoon. I've sent you a box of spoons by courier.@Valli I'm sure the journey will fly by - are you going on the train? If so, lots of nice things to see through the window. I wish I were coming too.@Asparklierblonde sorry he wasn't 'the one' but I hope you had a reasonable time, and you came back safe which is the main thing. Did he like the scarf? You can keep it or donate it to a charity shop. This morning I went out for a walk and to buy a couple of things. I came back and did some indoor gardening. I put some towels on to wash and put fresh ones out, made lunch and am now about to wash up and start on the TDing. The Waitrose order came and I put that away and I toasted some almonds for a pre-lunch/supper snack to have with a drink.8

Round.. you delurked.. Lovely to have you back and I hope this week is better than you are expecting.. just tell misery-guts to shut up.. sending you virtual flowers and chocolates.. I'd offer some of the brownies the girls made yesterday but . I won't
ASB . glad you enjoyed it but it was clearly too soon for him..
OH has taken the girls to the skate park.. I am doing nothing.. writing emails, replying to messages and doing nothing.. I have applied for half a dozen more jobs for OH.. He has a second interview and a phone interview this week. I would really find it much easier if he had some MH time off tbh.. but he is a creature of habit and if he isn't working he will be really hard to get back into it.. so I shall continue.
My hips and back are really painful and I have a stress headache. FIL wants us to go there to pick up the stuff from his house which was MILs.. I have a pattern to make memory bears out of MIL's old garments.. for the 4 girls, OH and SIL.. as annoying as she is I will make her a bear because it is a kind thing to do and I am not a monster. I need my sewing machine servicing first.
Right.. laundry to hang out.. a cat to worm.. several to deflea.. and a DW to load..
Back later xxx.

Aww Round you have a lot on your plate, be kind to yourself, much love winging it's way from me x
So.. massive decluttering session here, the car is loaded to drop off at the village hall for their reycling day tomorrow. DSs cupboard in his old room has been organised, the clothes he has left here can stay for now. I have moved the chair out of our bedroom into there so it makes a quiet little spot for reading. The chair only gets clothes dumped on it currently.
I have also made teacakes, carrot muffins and a loaf of bread. No real cleaning done, but it's been a productive day.8 -

In the last 2 days:
- washing up to date, dry stuff put away
- washing up ditto
- made cake to take when visiting a friend
- went to BodyStep
- went for lake swim followed by yummy brunch as it is my swim buddy's birthday tomorrow and mine next week.
- JustGiving page set up for sponsored swim in June
- loads of gardening done
- Lots of birthdays this week plus DB/SIL anniversary so cards all written and posted.
- supermarket trip done on way home from swim; ditto filled up with petrol.
- dropped into church on way home from swim, I checked flower arrangements while Mr N wielded the vacuum cleaner. A million ladybirds are coming out of hibernation so I swept up most and put them outside so they don't get trodden on and squished tomorrow. Cordoned off one pew which seems knee-deep in them.
I've lost track of anything else but various admin/tidying has been done. The house isn't too bad but I want to vacuum today or tomorrow. When I say "want", perhaps that should be "need".......
I want to finish writing up Wednesday's assessment and send it off on Monday.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.6 -
And have a lovely non-flying flymeet tomorrow. I will be thinking of you.
Oh, and I reapplied for my senior bus pass as I had an email saying I'd sent insufficient evidence of my disability!!!! er....what disability is that then; isn't old age enough? Sigh.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10
